HARVIN SENT HOME SICK FROM SYMPOSIUM
Posted by Aaron Wilson on June 29, 2009, 8:38 p.m. EDT
Apparently, Percy Harvin is prone to sudden illnesses.
For the second time this offseason, the Minnesota Vikings’ speedy rookie wide receiver has been stricken with an illness.
This time, it happened at the NFL Rookie Symposium as the first-round draft pick was “sent home and officially excused” from attending the rest of the symposium after complaining that he wasn’t feeling well, according to Steve Wyche of NFL.com.
PFT has confirmed that Harvin was sent home because of flu-like symptoms after reporting to the event in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on Sunday along with the other 255 rookie draft picks. However, Harvin may return as soon as Tuesday, if he feels better.
While traveling to the Vikings’ rookie minicamp, the former University of Florida standout was hospitalized with a virus and dehydration after throwing up on his flight to Atlanta. Consequently, Harvin missed the entire minicamp.
During subsequent minicamps and Organized Team Activities, Harvin has drawn heavy praise from coaches and teammates for his explosiveness and versatility. He has been preparing for a potential Wildcat role for this season.

I think I saw this guy on ESPN's the playmakers. He was free basing under the stadium stands and puking on the sidelines. What a beast!
