I've seen a lot of random pieces about him and how good of a power hitting prospect he is. But how good is he and why is he not up here yet??

We traded Chris Richards for him during spring training this year. He's hit 8 HR's so far in AAA. Ive just never seen him play and i dont know what kind of power he really has?? Does anyone have any idea??

I've wondered this very same thing. Why not bring him up and trade David Segui for a couple bags of baseballs or something. I don't see the point at this time to keep playing Segui or Conine (though I love him) or any other older players...just my take.

I don't know why but that guy really irritates me. I used to like him when he was an original Oriole but I just cringe when he bats now.

I'm into this youth thing and he's not going to be an O when they get good (2028??) so why play him?

i hear he is most adept at striking out... that is half the reason he hasn't been called up. i don't know the other reason... maybe because our OF is set (Mora, Matos, Gibbons), and Conine is entrenched at first...

we might be able to use him as a DH, but he needs plate discipline.

He's good because he hit a 3run bomb to beat the Twins. Go Jack. hahaha. :laugh:

Well its been a while since i started this post and he's played a little bit now. Started 3 games and hit 3 homers. OH HELL YEAH CUST.

And as for the striking out thing. That must have been a false report cause all they talk about is that he walks all the time and has a very good eye and disipline.

Currently I hate Jack Cust. THat play could cost the Red Sox the division.

Yeah, I heard he has a weakness running to home plate.
