I know it sounds weird but a couple of years ago I was talking with some friends an we were joking about the Real Doll. (google if you don't know) Of course the subject came up (pardon the pun) about how long it would be before they made robots. Which kind got me thinking...

What if you made the dolls into waldos (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_manipulator)? You wouldn't need the complex robot brain. Instead it could be your girlfriend or wife on the other side of the world controlling it. I mean people use phone sex all the time right? Which got me thinking that it would create it's own wierd offshoots like people using the waldo to have "safe sex" with random strangers the might never meet. Which led me to think you would have to have a safety kill switch in case your partner was a freak.
