Cink has this one in the bag, good for him. I was watching an interview with him yesterday, he certainly deserves it.

I feel sorry for both players - so many wanted Watson there is a huge sense of anti-climax now. Crowds are just applauding politely rather than being excited. I reckon it will be remembered as the Open Watson should have won rather than the Open Cink did win.

When everyone was sliding down, Cink canned that birdie on 18. If you cannot par the 72nd hold of a tourney, you don't deserve to win. Watson didn't deserve to win.

Of course he deserved to win. Anyone who's that close to winning, and plays that well deserves to win. Whether he screws something up doesn't make him less deserving. It just screws up his chances of winning.

Fun tournament to watch, I never thought I would have an opportunity to pull for Tom Watson to win a major in such a historic fashion. Congrats to Cink, his consitency is finally rewarded with a major.
