Kwame in da house, which is nice. That roster is huuuge.... a veritable cornucopia of walk-ons. Britton Johnson, who is on the roster, is playing in the summer league down in FLA for the Magic right now, and he dunked on LeBron tonight :D

...edit... btw, they made a typo on Kwame's DOB, he was born in 1982, not 1977.

I'm glad Kwame's participating - it shows some commitment. The guy I'm watching is Marvin Stone out of Louisville. The kid has an NBA body - I saw a fair amount of him (I watch a bit of C-USA basketball). He's got a chance to make the roster.

how does this all work, are the wizards the team that has the first option on some of these free agents?? Or is anyone playing in the summer league without a contract open for all the teams?

The summer leaguers are pure free agents and any team can sign them. Wow, you guys are high tech with your sign offs and picks.

Yeah, Die Hard is always busy adding features to the board. We're still waiting on the football-way-back machine that'll allow us to go back and remedy the drafting of Heath Shuler, Desmond Howard, and Andre Johnson, among others.

I'm also glad Kwame decided to play. I'm curious on how Blake and Hayes will do.

I still don't understand why people have been raving over the game that James had. He STILL hasn't played aganist a NBA caliber team, wait until the season to proclaim him the next ANYTHING!

One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong. ;)

Summer League: I'm so pissed that it doesn't look like any of the games will be televised, you would think ESPN 2 would at least want to televise the Wiz v. Cavs. Apparently NBA league pass on direct tv will show one Wiz game, I don't know which it is.

Cranky Todd, you're cracking me up with the Heath Shuler time machine. Apparently someone in the organization has one since V. Cerrato is back.

OT:Lucky Devi, it's off topic but I like the Rand quotes. I read most of that while I was in college, it made me quite anti-social for a while (Fountainhead more so than Atlas Shrugged) but there are some great passages in those books, all though I think the philosophy is somewhat incomplete.

Wiz not on tv? Welcome back to the non-Jordan era. Before Michael got here we were on NBC Sunday once. And that was in 1994.
