He's a FA (played for the Raptors last year, and put up pretty solid #s ). He has decent size and excellent athleticism. Considering we have ...oh... ONE point guard on the roster right now, why not give him a shot?

He won't make that much of a difference on the team, He is a benchplayer. I like him though, I root for him to do good, don't think he will though.

I like Alston, he's one of those famous street ballers who've endured a bad rep because of their style of play. The plain truth is the kid can play, period.

The Wizards should give him a shot. Maybe nobody but me remembers this, but Raefer was the sole reason why we lost one of those games to the Raptors. He took over the game, abused Larry Hughes, and then hit the game-winning shot at the end.

The reason why most of these guys on And1 tapes don't get much of chance in the league. Is because with all their grandstanding, GM's take the assumption they'll play like that in the games. Alston proved that wasn't true, yet I go question his practice habits or off-the-court attitude if Toronto didn't bother to re-sign him.

The Wiz already had one legendary streetballer --- Conrad McRae. RIP
