Eagles QB Kolb, DE Cole injured at practice
BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - Two more Philadelphia Eagles have gone down during an injury-filled training camp.
Backup quarterback Kevin Kolb sprained his left knee and former Pro Bowl defensive end Trent Cole sprained his left shoulder in practice on Monday.
Kolb was injured early in the morning session. He walked to the sideline and was taken by cart to the locker room. Cole got hurt later in the session.
The Eagles already have lost starting middle linebacker Stewart Bradley and rookie tight end Cornelius Ingram for the season. Both players suffered ACL knee injuries last week.

Reminds me of 2006
Skins had lots of expectations, then started having a rash of injuries. I think almost every starter on defense missed some games.

2006 was brutal for the Skins...2007 was brutal for the Skins' O-line.
Eagles aren't catching any breaks at all...pretty rough.

Injuries are never "nice". Ever. I take MUCH more delight in seeing a fully stocked, healthy Eagles team failing than seeing the team fail due to injured players missing games or the entire season.

If you're team had been to the championship five times and yet never won a SB, and if it was a in a division in which every other team has at least 3 SB wins, you'd be pretty bitter too.

read what I wrote again- I said I felt bad for the person on a personal level- but **** the team and the town (and the fans). The "nice" part was only b/c the iggles are goign to suck ass this year- but no- I do not wish injury on a person regardless of team. I just wish that the team does ****ty.

The Eagles have suffered their share of injuries, and at least one of their boards seems to be up in arms about it. I'm not sure why though. Losing Bradley hurts, no doubt, but the other two major injuries are a 5th round backup TE, and a 2nd string QB who has looked completely awful in limited playing time.
I wouldn't circle the wagons just yet if I were them, and from my point of view, I'm not writing them off. Now if Trent Cole is seriously injured, or Donovan McNabb goes down, they can start worrying.

Does anyone really care that their backup QB, who has never shown that he can even compete in the nfl, is hurt?
Andy runs a tough camp. Bumps and bruises are to be expected.

At this point, Eagles injuries have become one of the dominant storylines of the beginning of training camp. Every time a player leaves the field, it's going to make a headline, regardless of whether the injury itself or the lost player is of any significance.

LMAO...
I live in the Lehigh Valley, (where the Eagles are holding training Camp), and trust me if they are drinking Bethlehem City water, there will be more injuries to come.

Hey chica, what gives? Heard you and your fellow Raven fans are mad about our Lookalike thread? It's all in good fun. We do it for every game, preseason or regular season. It has nothing to do with complaining nor does it really mean anything. I went to the Panthers/Skins preseason game last year and I was in the lower bowl. This 20 something half drunk dude was pointing in my face and getting up in my face for a preseason game. I think that's a little more extreme than a "funny" look-a-like thread. Tell your fellow Ravens fans to "lighten up."
Most fans of other teams come in here and laugh their asses off at the thread and they try to go into their sites and do the same to us. Hell, we make fun of our own players. We had Shawn Springs and Wayne Brady going every year. I think we even made our own look-a-like thread one time. It's all in good fun, nothing serious. Win or lose tonight, it just helps fans have some fun when you've been through 18 years of crap football.
