Think this could be a pretty good thread to tide us over til the weekends games, and could be cool to look back at the end of the season and see how much as changed.
Positions used- QB, RB, WR, TE, OT, OG, C, DT, DE, Hybrid 'backers(3-4 outside linebackers), ILB, OLB, CB, S.
Only do top 3 if you like, or only offense or defense ect.. but should be very interesting to see what some of you think for league wide rankings, since in the ATN its mostly NFC East all day every day.

QB-
Tom Brady- 3 SBs. 50 TDs in his last full season. Enough Said.
Peyton Manning
Drew Brees
Phillip Rivers- Had a fantastic 08 season passing with LT and Gates banged up.
Big Ben(So clutch in the playoffs, have to give it to him especially for dealing with that terrible pass blocking last season)
RB-
1.Adrian Peterson
2.DeAngelo Williams-Yes im serious.. Williams was ridiculously good last season. Expect to get some major crap for this one.
3.Clinton Portis- Consistently a tough productive runner year in and year out.
4. Michael Turner- Had a brilliant season carrying the Falcons last year in his first as a starter.
5. Steven Jackson- Seems to always be banged up but when he's healthy, yeah, he's that good.
(Chris Johnson, Brian Westbrook, sorry but you just missed)
WR-
1. Larry Fitzgerald- The playoffs last season about sums it up.
2. Andre Johnson- When healthy is nearly unstoppable despite having up and down QBing.
3. Steve Smith- Think you can double the little guy and stop him? Better make it 3.. or he'll burn you all day long. Plays with fire, which sometimes turns into temper tantrums though..
4. Calvin Johnson- Had a fantastic 2nd season despite seemingly playing with a new crappy QB every couple weeks.
5. Brandon Marshall- He's a punk, he'll probably be suspended, but the dude can play some football.. is deadly in run after the catch.
TE-
1. Tony Gonzalez- The throne is his until he stops dominating like he did in 08.
2. Jason Witten- Great blocker, excellent passing option, tough as nails and durable. Gotta love him.
3. Antonio Gates- Probably more talented then Witten, but cant seem to stay healthy. That knocks him down a spot.
4. Chris Cooley- Very similair to Witten.. very tough at running after the catch.
5. Owen Daniels-Really excelled as a receiver last season.
OT-
1. Joe Thomas- Has been a beast for Cleveland.
2. Chris Samuels- Consistency.
3. Ryan Clady- Was dominant as a rookie.
4. Michael Roos- Tough run blocker, big part of titans success.
5. Walter Jones- Sorry Walter Jones, but you are no longer the best tackle in the game. Age is coming.
OG-
1. Steve Hutchinson-Watch an AP highlight film. Then watch whose leading him up the hole.
2. Eric Steinbach- Another beastly Browns lineman.. now why cant they seem to win any games!?
3. Shawn Andrews- Road grader of a run blocker.
4. Kris Dielman
5. Logan Mankins(With Leonard Davis and Chris Snee closely behind)
C- TBA Later ;)

Quick question: are these supposed to be fantasy type rankings (ie yards, yards, yards) or are we discussing who we think is best based on other factors?

Left a few comments in blue..
1. Tom Brady
2. Payton Manning
3. Drew Brees
4. Jay Cutler
5. Matt Ryan
Matt Ryan over Big Ben and Rivers? He was very impressive as a rookie, but that seems a little overhype!
FBs:
1. Lorenzo Neal
2. Mike Sellers
3. LaRon McClain
4. Madison Hedgecock
5. Brad Hoover
Didnt Neal get cut from the Chargers because they thought he was out of gas?
WRs:
1. Larry Fitzgerald
2. Andre Johnson
3. Calvin Johnson
4. Randy Moss
5. DeSean Jackson/Eddie Royal
Jackson and Royal over Steve Smith.. both very talented, but seems bold!
