Hey folks, I just moved to England, am trying to figure out how I'm going to watch the 'skins this year. I know that there is the package offered through the NFL for just over $200, but unfortunately the internet at my new flat is absolutely terrible, and I'm uncertain that it can handle those streams. I of course will try to stream other things first, but yeah, judging that it takes quite literally 10 seconds to open up a new e-mail on Gmail...I'm not too hopeful for HD streamed games. That being said, my other option would then be downloading. Do torrent websites/trackers exist for games after they're complete? This is certainly illegal and is only something I would do as a last resort, but I was curious if anyone had any input on this.

Living in New York, I don't get to watch the Skins that often other than when they play the Giants, Jets, another NFC East team, and if I'm lucky, one of their games will be randomly on. I eventually found that I can watch the games online for free at
http://myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=&part=sports&discipline=americanfootball
You will have to download something like Sopcast(sometimes you have to use another p2p streaming program)

If I can't find the games at myp2p, I resort to the nfl tracker at nfl.com:(

Outside of the official NFL site you mentioned, either via the audio or visual version, they'll be some SNF games and every MNF game on terrestrial TV, (Channel 5), and if you pay the extra, the satellite/cable company SKY show a decent selection of games all through Sunday night, though there's no guarantee they'll pick up a 'Skins game of course.
I'm sure someone who does go down the route of watching on line via another source will be able to fill you in on the best sites if that's your prefered option. *Edit* As Coolio47 has above.
Hail.
