i was listening to Wiz GM Grunfeld yesterday on WTEM and he mentioned there was a misunderstanding about Kwame participating in summer league games. Brown had made other plans (and is not required to participate anyway) but when the new Wiz brass called him and asked him to play 3 games (due to the new system and staff etc.) he agreed. Grunfeld said he got better each game and did very well.

so Kwame, who is obligated for 0 summer league games and plays in 3 is somehow a villian because the Post says 'someone' hoped he play in all 6. Hmmmmmmmmm

Time will tell how Kwame does...I think having Eddie Jordan as his new coach willdo wonders for his self esteem and his learning curve, hopefully this season will show he is the special player that the wizards thought they were getting when they drafted him.

Like I said, if EJ can do half as much for Kwame as he did for Kenyon Martin I will be thrilled. Time will tell...

I wonder if our Kwame would have spent these last few years with John Thompson, how much differently we would percieve him.
but then again he would have had to go to school.
pity.
