Brian Urlacher appears to be out for the season after dislocating his right wrist, the linebacker said Monday. The team has not given the official word, but Lovie Smith is expected to address the issue during his afternoon press conference.
Urlacher injured his wrist in the first quarter of Sunday's 21-15 loss to the Packers. He was ruled out after halftime.
When asked about his status Monday, Urlacher said in a text message that his ``season is over.''

Shortage of beer and hard liquor reported in the Chicago metropolitan area. Jay Cutler's whereabouts are unknown at this time.

A wrist injuy? How bad does a dislocated wrist injury have to be to keep someone out for an entire season?

Terrible news for Chicago. I like seeing Urlacher play when forced to watch the bears.

I like BU, but I think he's a tad overrated due to his skin color and the history of that position in Chicago.

Wow, I didn't even know it was possible to dislocate your wrist. Must be one hell of an injury to keep you out for they year when it occurs in week 1.

Collinsworth jinxed him. He said this was the first time in 3 years BU has felt 100% since his back and neck injuries.

I thought he'd be out 4-6 weeks or so since they said it requires surgery, wasn't expecting him to be out all season.

right before he was hurt, the announcers were going on about how he was finally healthy, and the bears coaches expected big things from him this year
