Ok since synder owned the team,,We started with overpaying washed up players.Than we though joe gibbs was gonna bring us back to glory.Than we went out and use every quarterback know to man.Now we cannot score a td is it the staff or the player or the playcalling.I mean jason is not a superbowl qb we know that. But zorn is not a real headcoach,so if synder sell the team will we be better! Im lost.

Hiring BRUCE ALLEN or any qualified GM would be a good start to me hating Snyder less.

Don't blame Snyder for the fact that Jim Zorn doesn't know how to utilize Hunter Smiths running ability 2 weeks in a row.

Hate to say this, but it could be worse. We could be the Raiders or the Lions.

I'd argue that, by virtue of owning the team, he's a "true owner"...

The Raiders have the same record as us, and were damn near 2-0.
Both of those teams have scored almost twice as many points as we have. It really doesn't get all that much worse than beating the Rams 9-7.
Hopefully our red zone woes are alleviated this week though and we beat the living hell out of them.

The idea will probably enter his head when the first blackout happens later this season.
It would have to totally implode however, before he realized he was doing everything wrong.

It's not possible that we have a blackout this year. The games are already sold out.

I would rather be the Lions right now.
Coach that was a proven coordinator in the NFL, GM who rapes the Cowboys on a trade, QB of the future, lots of draft picks, no insane contracts

1. I certainly don't believe that.
2. Not sure about the league rules, but if some visiting team "kicks back" 10k seats, I doubt they all get purchased.
Dan will try to avoid this however, by having stub hub directly purchase the tickets, even if they have to eat them.
That way, it still qualifies as "sold out."
When that day approaches, he will begin to realize the severity of his fail.

You don't have to believe it. It has already been reported that the tickets are sold out. If the visiting teams return some that have already been accounted for, that doesn't get counted against the Redskins.
I can't speak for anything beyond this year, but the Redskins won't be blacked out in 2009.

Honestly when will people realize that the punter is the best back on the team!?!?!?! The Stats don't lie!

This is the last year I am renewing my 4 seats. If I go I can get tickets anytime for less than face. More than liekly I will choose to watch it on TV vs. lining the dwarfs pockets any further.
Little Danny has run this organization into the ground. The only fun was the tailgating and he made that a living hell.
The team has no stars, the coach is a QB coach with zero ability to call a game. He has paralyzed a QB that has some skills. Danny has his boyfriend in charge of player personnel.
Enough is enough. Snyder is a horrible owner and a worse human.

We are getting killed in the red zone because we have absolutely no WR threats. Teams are taking Moss out of his game and letting us "march it up and down the field".
Guess what opposing defenses do vs. our offense inside the red zone. They play run left, cover Cooley in the middle and to the right, and watch the left corner of the end zone for a scrub to attempt to peal off six points.
Rocket science.
Given Vinny & Danny's fantasy talent level on offense... could you do any better job calling plays?
I think not. I don't believe any one on this board could handle the heat Zorn is taking right now. Truth is... Joe Gibbs took the first excuse bus that was offered to him and left Dodge.
It has only just begun. If the Skins go 5-0 over their next five to end up six and one...
How far will the go in the second half?
Yep. O-V-E-R.

Better get used to it, because Snyderrato is not going anywhere.
I honestly believe he wants to win, I really do. He just needs to step back and let someone else build the team.

When others are successful enough to purchase a professional football franchise, you can run it like a non-profit all you want.
The guy is the owner (a "true owner") because he bought the team. He's not going anywhere so what's the point of threads like this?

Silly, silly thread. Snyder is a true owner. As a capitalist, he has done well for the Redskins organization. As a owner of a football team, he has provided the capital the team needs to get what it thinks it needs to succeed.
Where he potentially fails is a talent scout/contract negotiator, but even there the record is mixed.
But by any sane definition he is a true owner. A good owner? Well, we can debate that one.

The point is simple...
Since Jack Kent Cooke died we have...
The most over sized and over rated and inaccessible stadium on the planet.
Signed more overpriced free agent busts than any other team in the nation.
Never had a coaching staff long enough to establish consistency.
You mean they have a draft of eligible college talent? With OL in it players too?
Lastly....
Vinny Cerrato
'Nuff said.
The only way it could be any worse is...
Being a Bengal fan.
Being a Cowboys fan.
Being a Raiders fan.
Being a Lions fan.
Get it?

Never. This is his best money making scheme yet. He knows that the fans are passionate about THEIR team. We will buy anything with the Redskins logo on it. Why should he care about wins, as long as he has his steady cash flow coming in and his faithfull lapdog by his side, all is ok in Dannyville. If ticket sales drop, he'll pull some stunt like resurecting Vince Lombardi and then break out a retro logo and slap it on everything from toothpicks to tampons and sell the **** out of them.

I'm not advocating that Snyder run the team like a non-profit. I have no problems with him making money. What I have a problem with is his incompetence with putting a worthy product on the field.

He runs the team like a business he is trying to suck every ounce of life and profit out of. When he has executed this, he will cast off the lifeless carcass of the Redskins and move on. As long as the fans keep feeding th emonster, the cycle will never stop though.
