Were the fans booing the players or the play-calling? I thought the booing was of the play-calling, not the players. Am I out of my mind?

They were booing the product on the field. Simple as that.

Well looky here, yet another booing thread... This really could have been merged.

Ill play along though. Im gonna say they were booing both. i was at the game, but it didn't occur to me to boo. When I heard it I thought to myself, damn this is a little early in the season to hear this... but it makes sense. the fans are tired of the product being put on the field. Its not entirely Zorns fault or the players, I put more blame on Snyder. The common bond through out all the failing seasons sinse he has been here has been the owner. What about the years before that you ask? Good question. Those were seasons "in transition". We had a dying owner, and we had previously drank from the cup of success... and not just a sip, we guzzled from the cup of success under Gibbs... so there was still some after glow there until about 1996 Id say. Then the honeymoon was over and we realized we were losing. Four years later Snyder takes over.

The booing was unexpected. I see it as a boiling point in the fanbase.

OK look we ****ing won. I feel most the redskins nation will never be satisfied in what we put on the field. people are always looking for an instant solution, and people are always looking for the next best thing. If devin thomas and mike sellers didnt drop the passes this wouldnt even be an issue. We made mistakes yes, but we did earn this victory. So quit bitching and if you wana focus on the redskins 24/7 then focus on the game next weekend!

No.

See pez.. that would be logical.

We don't operate in logic around these parts.

I know fans were frustrated but I distinctly felt like the players played hard but were not put in the best positions to make plays. There were a few missed throws and a few dropped balls, which happens with every team in every game. Until yesterday, I was a big Jim Zorn fan. After Zorn told Sonny, during the post game interview that he would have benched him if he audibled out of a play he called, I am even less of a fan of his.

Basically, if Jim Zorn was Sonny's coach, Sonny would not be in the hall of fame.

You don't have to participate in every post. If you don't like this, go away. Don't get disrespectful. Not all "booing posts" are the same.

I wasn't at the game but, just watching it on tv, I was a bit embarassed. I found it uncalled for. It's almost as if everyone expected us to lose.

The storm of aftermath, here, has been annoying the hell outta me as well.
