I am sick and tired of all the negative thoughts towards the skins. We are all diehard fans, if we weren't...we wouldn't we wasting our time talking about them all day and night. I understand that people hate zorn(including myself) but he is the coach and he will be the coach for atleast 14 more games. If he gets fired, we will be in worse shape then we are in now. (anyone remember the Norve Turner episode 2000 season)

The positives....
We are playing a sorry ass lions team(and are the underdogs??) After we beat the Lions on sunday everyone will have a different view on the skins.

@Lions (0-2) have a total net points of -32pts
Tampa bay (0-2) a total net points of -26pts
@ carolina (0-2) a total net points of -36pts
Kansas City (0-2) a total net points of -17pts
Philadelphia (1-1) a total net points of +2pts

Then we go into our BYE week. There is a chance that we can go into our bye week at 6-1 or 5-2. When that happens, Everyone who is screaming that JC sucks and Moss needs to go, along with ARE will be screaming Pro bowl canidates and buying there tickets to the super bowl.

Lets here some positive talk....we are 1-1 right now. In week 4 everyone will have already forgotten about the rams game.

I don't mind the negativity if it is somewhat justifiable. I don't like repetitious and excessive bashing of the team out of mere frustration.

After much reflection, I believe that alot of the hate and dissappointed views (mine included) are due to beginning of the season and everyone's expectations of something new like winning big, or the skins looking like a real powerhouse for once. Yet here we are again stuck in second gear.

I think it's not a matter of high expectations, but rather the fact that we have shown no indication whatsoever that we are one iota better than we were last year. Still early, but based on the performance so far I can't say that I can fault any fan for their reaction.

All I know is tana is starting in my fantasy this week because hes going to drop 100+ yards with 2 Td's. Book it.

Not very positive so far!! After two games our D given up a grand total of 23 points! How about our D-line is causing teams to game plan for us? How about hope for the future with players like Rack, Jarmon, Mitchell, BMW, Kelly, Mason, Aldridge, Davis etc.
How about ARE finding a nice home in the slot?
Nothing positive has happened this year?
Anybody?

There are alot of positive things about the skins this year in my opinion...

For starters our offense can finally move the ball and is converting some 3rd downs

last year on 3rd and 9 we would go for 8... Anybody remember that? This year we are getting them...

Lets be honest if big mike sellars and devin thomas don't drop the ball, our offense would have looked fantastic last week... Im not really sure what game everyone else was watching (or not watching in the cast of all espn "experts")

Ok lemme give this a shot...

Still have 14 games left to right the ship.

Skins are tied for second in the NFC East.

They have Detroit, KC, Tampa and Carolina coming up (all winnable)

The defense, while still having a lot of room to improve, has stood its' ground.

and most importantly.....

Henson shut down his Twitter account.

:stop:

:yikes: WHO listens to the "experts"?

:no::no: Not me!

I want the Redskins to play with :maniac: Passion!
Those "supposed experts" - :rotflmao: don't like the Skins - everyone knows that:thumbsup:

ALL I ask of this TEAM - play with Passion for the WIN.......for 4 quarters................

Nothin' hard about that :D

Ok positive: Haynesworth is having an impact. Those yellow cleats are kinda cool.
At least Campbell is running rather waiting to be sacked.

Because It's so early in the year... anything is possible! It all starts with blowing out the Lions! Wouldn't that change the dreary outlook in this place? Is it likely? Who knows but the '94 Cryboys started off 0-2 and they won the SB. We start rolling over people and the next thing you know; Bandwagon!

You are wrong we are pathetic. Can't score against the worst defense in two games? It is embarrassing.

Don't forget that Danny Smith is managing the gameclock for us and delegating when to call timeouts.

Thats right, WE SUCK. Just like the patriots who put up 9 points also. But the difference is....we won the game.

The problem is that we were saying the same thing last year and we looked exactly like we did against the Rams. 6-1 or 5-2 would be great but unless we show tons of improvement we are going to get pummelled in the 2nd half of the year just like we did last year. If last year didn't happen then I would be fully on the "A win is a win is a win" bandwagon. But last year did happen.

oh god, here we go again.

1st td was luck

2nd td was irrelevant and ONLY happened because the game was essentially over.

Not only that, but we could possibly be looking at not playing a team with a win until the Philly game:

@Lions (0-2) have a total net points of -32pts
Tampa bay (0-2) a total net points of -26pts
@ carolina (0-2) a total net points of -36pts
Kansas City (0-2) a total net points of -17pts

Tampa plays the Giants this week, then us

Carolina plays AT Dallas, then a bye week, then us

KC plays @ Philly, home to NYG, home to Dallas, then us (Wow that is just brutal)

Oh and because they have a proven QB that automatically turns their loss into a win right? Our QB is not proven so we better go change that win we have to a loss. Does the fact that he is proven mean the Patriots will win more games than the Skins this year? Gotta support your team no matter what and be happy with every win they get! Ugly wins are still wins.

-The main positive for me is that the short passing game looks a lot sharper than it has in recent years...and that's pretty important for a supposed WCO.

-We have several key players underperforming (eg Santana Moss, Mike Sellars, Laron Landry & DeAngelo Hall) and an important rookie who will likely improve as the season goes on. There is plenty of scope for these players to step up and help the team.

-The pass protection from the Oline has been pretty decent so far.
