One of my girlfriends is from Flint and has been talking smack ALL WEEK.
I had to remind her that the offense is still adjusting..the Defense gets better and better each week. The Defense held the Rams to 1 TD last week and held the Giants in check pretty much too. I also warned her about Haynesworth,Carter, Rocky Mac,Fletcher and ORAKPO reeking havoc
on their young QB Stafford.It won't be as easy as those picking the Lions thinkit will be.No matter the offense's red zone woes. Spags was the D cordinator for our divisional rivals Giants for years,he knows us all too well.Even then the Offense had several drives of 10+ plays moving the ball at will and effectively. All it takes is that 1st offensive TD and then it's gon rain baby...book it;)

Good chance? Yeah, any given Sunday, and all that. But Stafford is the near the bottom of the barrel when it comes to QBs, their D is ranked 27th (early in the season, I know, but still bad) and this team is fired up (or at least it should be). I think we win and win big tomorrow, redzone problems notwithstanding.

This is getting out of control. I've defended the fans booing the team after a poor performance over who might be the worst team in the NFL. I"m all for sending the team a message, and for hitting Danny in his pocketbook (via concession sales by fans not showing up, and simply embarrassing him on national TV). But this **** about finding new teams to root for, giving up on the team, etc, etc, EVEN IF WE LOSE tomorrow, is insane.

How can any fan EVER dream of rooting for another team? Probably the same that give up on their marriage when it gets "rocky". This is our team. If you're a member of this board, you have no choice. It's in your blood.

This is a big game for us I think. If we lose, the players will have to cut off from newspapers, ESPN, Twitter, blogs and everything else I think until next Sunday! Maybe have to even move them back into the dorms for a week. :)

If our D and ST can bring it again and keep them in single digits -- baseball scores rather than football -- we'll have a good chance to win. But if we let this get into double digits, I don't like our chances.

I concur whole heartedly! Especially here in Virginia, we have a lot of fans from other teams for some reason. The most are Cowboys fans, second are Steelers and then you have (in no particular order) Ravens, Eagles and Pats fans (thank God no NY fans). However, I think you should be ashamed of yourself to root for anyone other than your own home team.

I had an old friend, Ted(RIP), that was a huge Lions fan. And I was like :wtf:

As the years went by, Ted would call me before Skins vs Lions games for a little smack talk and some friendly wagering. I always won. Ted always lost.
He was a steady fan for decades of fail.
During the Super Bowl years it was easy to be a Redskins fan.
The last few seasons I have learned to appreciate Ted.
