Yeah, there wasn't much chance and yeah, they shouldn't have been there in the first place. But for F's sake take a shot!!!

6 of one, half dozen of another. Its a mentality. They shouldn't have been there in the first place but since they were, that play was ridiculous.

Our last series was indicative of Zorn's playcalling in general, it didn't give us a chance.

2-10-DET 36 (:21) (Shotgun) J.Campbell pass incomplete short middle to C.Cooley.
3-10-DET 36 (:16) J.Campbell pass incomplete short left to C.Cooley (J.Hunter).

Throwing over the middle?

Why not throw quick towards the sideline?

or better yet...why not throw EVERY pass inside the 10 or better yet inside the endzone!

Imo every receiver should have been inside the 10 if not the ENDZONE!

Timeout #2 by DET at 00:08.

Then Lions give us a gift TO to get a play in and we come up with a FREAKIN HOOK AND LADDER!?!?!

4-10-DET 36 (:08) J.Campbell pass short middle to S.Moss to DET 30 for 6 yards. Lateral to A.Randle El to DET 32 for -2 yards. Lateral to P22
L.Betts to DET 23 for 9 yards (L.Foote).

Once again Zorn didn't give us a chance:

A hook and ladder vs:

3-3-SF 32 (:12) (Shotgun) B.Favre pass deep right to G.Lewis for 32 yards, TOUCHDOWN [M.Lawson]. P19
The Replay Assistant challenged the runner was in bounds ruling, and the play was Upheld.
R.Longwell extra point is GOOD, Center-C.Loeffler, Holder-C.Kluwe.

That was maybe the most annoying part of the game. We need a TD so we consistently try for 7-12 yard passes with no time left on the clock. NOBODY on that team was thinking - not the coach, QB or receivers.

I jump ball in the end zone would have been infinitely preferable to any of those plays.

Obviously, Zorn cooked up that playcall since there was a timeout by the Lions. What the hell was he thinking...Seriously, a Kelly vs. Calvin Johnson jump ball in the end zone would have been a longshot, but still a better chance at grabbing the TD.

They guard against the sideline, the middle is more open but obviously dangerous against the clock. It wouldve been worth the 20 some yard pick up.

It's called the prevent defense. It's not just a hater conspiracy.
