-Moss finally had a big game
-Orakpo got a sack (so did Haynesworth)
-Fletcher was a beast as usual

That's it :(

EDIT: And no "Zorn will get fired/JC is done" please.

JC worked the no huddle well on the last touchdown. I would like to see more that.

Deanglo did a great job on Calvin Johnson

Even though they went down, Haynesworth and Rogers' injuries were minor.

No one on this site seems to want to admit it but Campbell played pretty well, overall. Sure, he missed a few shots and had an int. but all QBs have that happen. Anyway, here was his stat line:

27-41 comp. (65.8%)
341 yards
2 TD
1 INT
97.5 QB rating

If I had the balls to bench Tom Brady on my fantasy team and started Campbell I would have gained about 10 points...just saying.

Rhino played better then I thought, held his own.
Reed D had a good game.
Moss of course
JC had a good game - Remeber it would have been better if our receivers would quit stopping 2 yards short of the 1st down marker.

Coaching again sucked - making more evident where the issues lie with the team on Sundays.

We want JC to take shots and be more aggressive. He did...and his stat line was pretty impressive. If at the beginning of the season somebody had said you can have player X at the QB position who will put up those stats every game, how many of us would have been salivating thinking 13-3 at worste?

Guess what, JC had a good game, at a level we should be thrilled with game in and game out.

JC didn't have a good game....

he should have thrown 4 INT's... 3 of the them were easy drops. he fumbled.. luckily recovered...

and out of 10 drives... only 1 of them ended in points... and that was because Detroit had totally blown coverage... not because JC beat them.

that last TD was garabage time crap just like the one against the Giants.

When is that going to = points? He's the equivalent to Brunell in 06. Great completion %, no points. 2/3s of our offensive TD's this year are when the game is essentially over. 1 TD before the final 3 minutes of the 4th quarter. We've played against 3 of the worst secondaries in the NFL.

Can Campbell ever be in the position to hold a 10+ point lead?

BTW, I started Campbell on my FF team over Favre and Orton. It was a good idea. Got me 23 points, but he's still garbage. He's a pretty safe pick in FF though because he won't ever lose a lot of points even if he doesn't get you more than 10 most of the time.

We found out we're going to have a good-to-great draft pick after this year, and a last place schedule next year.

A lot of defensive players looked good individually???? Then why were the Lions gashing them for long running plays up the middle? Why were they completing so many passes? WHY were they so successful on third downs....at one point 100% success rate for the first 6-8 3rd down plays! The DL played extremely poorly against the run and I hold Fletcher accountable for the running plays up the middle. The DBs tackled poorly and Landry is just out of the play due to Blache's schemes. I did see Doughtly play well on a few plays. But overall Defense was a D-. I blame the players for poor tackling and Blache for poor schemes and failure to make adjustments.

Yea I agree but unfortunately the QB gets too much praise when we win and too much blame when we lose. Lets say Portis runs it in in for TD the 1st quarter and the Lions get a FG on that ensuing drive and we pull it out all of a sudden we are talking about how Campbell is showing progress and starting to come into his own.

When you lose to a team that has lost 20 straight and are never really in the game, NOTHING good comes of it. Heck, we can't even get the needed housecleaning done either, because, somehow, everyone responsible for this is still employed.
