I was listening to the Dan Patrick Show today and they had Peter Gammons on. He was discussing how the Mets aren't thrilled with Piazza and he isn't happy either. He singled out the O's as a team that might trade for Piazza and use him as a DH and occassional catcher. Would you guys like this move?

No way would the O's do this. They are trying to get prospects for their veterans right now. Why would they want to do get a guy who is injured all the time to play first base when they already have one (Segui)?

I'm hoping Gammons is wrong too. Just figured I'd add it to the board since it's a rumor I heard from a pretty credible source. I'm with you though...
