Score TD's in the redzone at least 3 times if we make it 5 times down in the redzone.

Defense forcing 3 and outs instead of extending plays for long drives and keeping teams in it.

win or lose, we need

anyone notice the urgency that portis was running with coming out of half ... the play calling was dialed up, and JC got some time to throw.

lmao @ wildcard offense, you guys are cruel.

But yeah it was said, score TD's in the redzone/, defense get more 3 and outs/get off the field on 3rd down.

Of course that over simplifies to a degree because there are changes that need to be made for those two things to even happen. ie. playcalling, intensity, aggressive play, possible personnel changes, who knows.

I'll go with some basic stuff.
1. Guys on Defense, please wrap up when making tackles. Also keeping you head up to see what you're hitting might be good as well.
2. Run the ball more than 14 times in a game.

1. Have to be more aggressive defensively- We're very vanilla and don't disguise anything well at att defensively. Its a joke how much more a Rex Ryan is getting out of a defense that has a similar talent lever to our own. Imagine what he can do with this group.

2. Diversify the offense. Mix in an Alridge/ Mitchell/ Thomas....Go away from the tendencies to run left....

If the offense sustains an early drive and put points on the board in the 1st quarter we will blow the Bucs out. If we come out flat and ask the defense to do all the work as usual this one is going to be another painful one to watch cause Zorn will cave under pressure. The guy needs a big win to loosen up the noose around his neck and allow him and the team some time to get their swagger back.

1st: We need a scripted opening drive where we do some things early to keep the Bucs guessing, throwing on every play in the 1st quarter against the Lions was a good start but we stalled out again in the red zone when Zorn's sphincter clenched up and he went back to his predictable self.

2nd: If it comes down to a 4th and Goal please please please do not run CP into a goal line defense behind Dockery or else the entire stadium will boo mercilessly. Play action, QB bootleg, QB sneak or just kick the damn FG. Anything that keeps teams who have no right being on the same field as us from feeling like they do.

The Bucs didn't even have a single first down until 5 minutes left in the third quarter last game.

That means we will need to play the game of our lives to win.

1. Putting constant pressure on the quarterback

2. Success in 10 -15 yard pass completions. Right now defenses are just stacking the box because we never throw the ball downfield. Some decent completions will make the defensive backs back up and play the receivers instead of the run.

Get an OL.

For all of you that have not thought the JZ situation out....Consider this:

When JZ was hired as HC was not allowed to put in a whole new system...the WCO.
JZ had to keep most of JG's staff.
Cowher, Fassel, Grimm or any other coach would not have done that, but that is a rookie mistake that JZ wont make again.
His complaining about the defense might get most of the Gibbs-ians fired in the offseason...especially since they are blocking the completion of his HC philosophy.
Give the guy a chance to show ownership how wrong they were to follow Gibbs' advice.
If his play-calling seems very conservative and Gibbs-esque then there is only one person to blame for that....Danny Boy!...
Danny made it clear that he loved Gibbs and that JG could do no wrong....even when he failed to win a playoff game or get into the playoffs half the time.
JG won 75% of his games in his first try at coaching and less than 50% his second time.
JZ is doing better than JG in his second stint.
Give him the same respect you gave JG.
Give him this year to iron out the wrinkles in the WCO and to get an OL.
Next year will be our year to shine.

- Redskins starts the game with an advance of 14 pts (should help our low scoring offense).
- Opponents are limited to 2 downs to make 10 yards (thus our defense won't have to be afraid of failing on 3rd...)

1. Offenive Play Calling.
2. Defensive Play Calling.

Exactly which ultimately leads to not being predictable on both sides of the ball. When need to keep the other teams guessing what we will do next instead of basically telling them and hoping they wont stop it.

2. Pull Zorn's head outta JC's arse
or the alternative, pick which ones you wish

2. When was the last time we saw a flea-flicker?
3. Tampa Bay players mysteriously comes down with Swine Flu
4. Deduct $5000.00 from each players salary that makes a bone-head play or blown coverage
5. Start TC AND Marko Mitchell ! {my favorite}
6. Have the Redskin cheerleaders give the TB QB flashes when he's about to take the snap {good secondary choice} + a fan favorite

The two biggest changes needed not only for the Bucs, but for any success in the future is a new GM, which we have needed for years, and a new Head Coach. I wanted to give Zorn a chance, and I think I have, but he just proves week in and week out he cannot get the team ready to play.

Let's discuss the Bucs game fellas.

Give me TWO changes that MUST happen in order for us to win and beat the Bucs.

Start patching the holes in our defense. We should start this by using our depth chart, and when we find one of our starters underachieving on a consistant basis, bench his sorry ass for someone whose just been dying to get his chance. There's nothing worse than watching someone with a ton of talent play with no heart, bench him. There's someone right behind him that may not be quite as talented, but will bust his tail and give 110%.

Why not pull the plug on LaRon Landry, and bring in Kareem Moore? All Moore did in the preseason was come up and make a ton of tackles. Landry should be learning his technique, and this would also be good medicine for Landry's swelled ego too. We also don't need Coach Blache saying that Landry's ready to make a run at the pro bowl. He's not even close.

And what about pulling Fred "Smack" Smoot? He's toast, so let's take a better look at Justin Tryon, or even Westbrook. Either one would provide better coverage, while Smoot could still talk his smack from the bench. I still don't know how Smoot made the 53 man roster. Maybe the coaches thought his smack would be a good motivator for our younger players, if so, it's just not working out? Try something else.

And Deangelo Hall, I'm watching you too, son. We're in trouble when it's time for you to tackle also. You'd rather stand around and watch the other guy get 'em down. Oh, and one other thing, you're still way over paid.

And why not move Orakpo back to DE, and put a real linebacker in his spot?

1. Offense: I'll have to say more effort/execution and sense of urgency from the offensive side of the ball.

2. Defense: As far as defense is concerned, i'll say we need a whole new scheme/strategy more specifically are more aggressive one, but i doubt that will happen as long as Greg (idiot) Blache is the defensive coordinator here.
