Let somebody else be the punt returner!

I think its time for Zorn to give somebody else a chance on running back punts.Ever since Randle El has been here he has'nt been a good punt returner at all.I think this year he is even worse b/c the past two games he has called for a fair catch atleast 3-4 times when nobody is with in ten yards of him.Thats uncalled for and we need a change there bigtime.

No I don't have a personal preference but with this season probably already over im thinking they should give a young kid a start.I would give Tryon,Westbrook,or Thomas a shot.

Hard to be a good punt-returner when you are calling for a fair-catch every kick.

Anthony Aldridge would be perfect if he didn't have some butter-fingers.

I would like to see them put a player back there that would run straight up the field without all the dancing crap.If Randle El does'nt call for a fair catch then he is back there dancing, juking wasting time letting the defense run down and takle him.B-mitch was the best when he played!! He caught that ball and without thinking he took off running straight up the field.

I agree, but honestly its the least of our problems.

I love special teams play, love what Beamerball does for Tech football but it doesn't win games for you in the absence of a competent defense/offense.

Its about all three phases of the game, you may be able to win with an awesome defense and a weaker offense or vice versa but special teams play alone won't win a bunch of games.

As quick as Moss was and considering he saved us total humiliation with his PR return against the 0-16 LIONS last year, I wonder what small percentage of Redskin Nation WASN'T wondering why the heck Randle El was still returning punts in the 4th quarter on Sunday.

The guy has great hands but when we are trailing in the 4th quarter he needs to be on the sidelines for someone more explosive who wants to make a play and doesn't call for a fair catch with no one in 10 yards of him.

The announcers on Sunday mentioned ARE had 4 carreer returned punts for touchdowns, they forgot to mention those were all for Pittsburgh.
