I was thinking after the game Jim Zorn has not tried this, intead of Chris Cooley blocking on those goal line plays, put big butt Haynesworth up there. I would put Hayesworth next to Chris Samuals, and have Sellers playing fullback and let Portis run behind that, those three guys that is almost a 1,000 pounds for portis to run behind. I thought about the old Chicago Bear days when they use to do that with the fridge. I rather see stuff like that then that stupid Stanford play. If we cannot score on plays like that, we can't score and the way I see we should throw stuff at teams they are not expecting. This team is better then the record shows but confidence is the key on both sides of the ball for us.

wow, glad I'm not the only one to think of something like that. maybe not haynesworth, but we do have better blockers than cooley.

With teams selling out 100% against our stretch play to the left, why not fake that and let Campbell keep it on a naked bootleg the other way. There was no one home on the backside on Sunday -- no one.

Wow....maybe you ought to at least mention that this was originally said by Doc Walker the other night..............

How about just running straight to get a yard instead of 10 yards to the sideline to gain a yard?

Yea Doc said to put Haynesworth and Mike Williams in and run behind them. Makes sense. Albert blows up an oline so no reason why he cant do it from the TE or on the wing in offense.

Haynesworth doesn't even have the stamina/conditioning to play all the defensive snaps and you guys want him to play both ways?

I actually thought that was what they were going to do on that first drive but, oh well.

Just on goal line plays, why not nothing else they do work.

Lol I am glad I am not the only one thinking like that, come on Zorn if you try that who is going to question you on that call, Let's see an lb stop that coming at them.

How about a qb sneak from the 1. Tends to work alot of the time and JC is a big boy. Or even a run up the middle with CP, not the SAME STRETCH RUN WE DO EVERY TIME! God Zorn doesn't know how to call a good play consistently.

I did not know Doc said that, if I did I would have I just thought about that when I re watched game last night and saw Rienhart fall down on the pull on the goal line play. i just thought it would have been a good play call. Hell he's making 40 something mill, I would want him on field as much as possible.

The naked bootleg is all I could think of when that play happened. Both weeks.
Well, that and we should've kicked the damned thing. Both weeks.

Every time I see JC try to throw that, it seems flat. He doesn't put enough air under it.
