OK, I'd really like to buy something from Disney. But AFAIK, the things I want are only sold at the stores in Downtown Disney, in Orlando. I've tried to find them online, and can't. (I assume that they're also sold in California, somewhere, but I don't know where.)
I'm hoping that there's an ERer out there who'd be willing to go buy the things for me, and ship them to me. (I'd even be willing to pay for their time.)
Anybody?

Larry, I believe that there are Disney stores (at least there were in malls near me, in Annapolis, Glen Burnie, and Columbia, MD). Do they not have stores near you?

1) No, they don't. (There used to be one in our mall, but they closed it a couple of years ago. Closest one now is in Jax.)
2) What I want to buy, they don't sell there. (Or online, either.)
Main thing I'm looking for is to buy a bunch (I'm thinking 20-40) of the Christmas decorations thay make in the shape of Mickey Mouse, so I can decorate the tree with them.
Downtown Disney has a store that sells nothing but Christmas decorations, and that's the only place I've ever seen them.

I'll do it for you..... although my commute airline tickets and hourly rate might be objectionable. :)
I took my daughter to Disney world last year. Same old majic kingdom, only now they no longer have those darned tickets. What amaized me most was how many people there didn't have kids. I'll bet 70% of the people there had no kids. Young College kids, older families, or old couples. It's amaizing how Disney's appeal has blossomed out of their demographic. Same old well run organization I remembered. Just a very very good time. I had much more fun as an adult than I thought I would have.
Only mistake, don't take a five year old on the haunted house. Big mistake.

Disney is a service company. I'll bet you if you called them up you could purchase them over the phone and get them shipped to you.

i know exactly the ornaments you are speaking of because I wanted to get several when I went last March but was worried about them breaking. They said to just call and they can ship them anywhere.

That's my line. Good like from Tombstone staring Val Kilmer and Kurt Russel.
I'll be there either Nov 15 or 21/22.

Kilmer,
Pick me up a few winter pull overs.. 46 XXXLT. Prefferable with Mickey on the front or Donald. Also a couple of those Circus de Selai funny hats. Four boxes of candy and one of those bushes out in front of the park, which looks like a character. try to get Peter Pan if you can and don't break the roots.
Ship that to me and we can hook up latter and talk payment.

They have them in glass or covered in satin, with or without things spray painted on them. (And in two sizes.)
I think I've found their phone number. I'm going to try them.

You know what I want to get? My father made me a Saturn V rocket model back in the early 1960's. It was really cool. you could take it apart and everything. I've been looking for that same model to build again because I trashed my father's when I was eleven.
Saw it at a hoby store and passed it up. Now they don't carry it anymore. I'm thinking the only place to get it would be Cape Kennedy.
