This is probably one of the worst days in Redskins history. It looks like he came in as a guy that just wanted to win. Where did that go?

Q: "You said a moment ago, 'This is the nation's team.' Do you believe that's the way you're go to approach this now as the new owner of the Washington Redskins?"

A: "...We're the nation's capital, so we're the nation's team. It's that simple. And uh, the first thing we're gonna do is field a winning organization. Uh, and put it on the field. That's what we look forward to."

That didn't work out well did it, $nyder? Give us our team back.

Q: "Are you willing to have a give and take? Are you going to rely on their (Norv and Casserly's) expertise and their knowledge?"

A: "We're, uh, active in everything that we've done. We're not individuals that sit, uh, idle. We're action-takers and we're persistent. That's what's led us here. So we're gonna do whatever it takes to field a winning organization..."

Not exactly a promise that he wouldn't be meddling in the football operations for years to come....

I remember being so happy that the NFL voted down Milstein and allowed Snyder to buy. And now I wonder if things would have been better had this not happened. Hell, the knock on Milstein was that he was too litigious and the league was worried he would spend a lot of time on legal issues against the league. Apparently, Snyder is better...because he focuses on legal issues against the fans.

I will never forget what he said about his first visit to the Redskins organization. He said they were "sleepy."

And then, he proceeded to eject so many people who were part of the highest class organization in the NFL. He cleaned house.

Now, the organization has entered a "slumber" stage.

Come on Dan. You called the greatest organization "sleepy." What have you done?

You should be thankful that the fan base has woken up. We are sick of it.

I am a diehard and, you know, I am pissed off.

My beloved Redskins. It is really all about the players and fans. The players and fans have been torn apart by management.

I have attended more than 200 Redskins games. Every game, every year, I believe we can win. Even now. But, Dan, something is seriously wrong.

He looks like a kid who finally got his hands on the most coveted toy.

You're right.

To me he looked genuinely excited, like any fan would be.

Either he was being sincere and something has changed, or he is a really good actor. This guy's number one priority is no longer "fielding a winning organization."

See here is his problem, he thinks he is fielding a winning organization. He is oblivious to the fact that the Redskins have been the model for loser organizations for his entire run as owner. Not once have the Redskins been mentioned as an organization that should be modeled by others. In fact the opposite is true. Under Danny, we have been consistently mentioned as an organization that doesn't have a clue as to what it is doing.

I mean, it's just a picture or whatever, but it really looks like yet another classic example of Dan trying to act cool with football players.

This is where that was from btw:

Danny needs to grow up, be a man and step back and just control the marketing side. That's what he's good at.
