whats with the 3rd quarter?

even in games where we have been just awful, for some reason we put together some semblance of a football game in the 3rd quarter. It then usually runs out of steam again in the 4th.

I have serious questions over our coaching and preperation for games. By half time, game after game, the team looks like it has no idea what its supposed to be doing. Then comes the third quarter and thats it. We're a 15 minute team....at best! the preperation of this team (and I know we have a lot of issues with injuries) is pitiful.

I thought Betts made a big difference.

I love CP, but he just doesn't have it right now.

Ladell Betts helped the anemic running game today. Goes to show that CP has been stinking it up ALONG with the O-line, not that just the O-line is bad at blocking, which they are.

When Betts is on fire, hitting the holes hard, be sure to bootleg to Mike Sellers on 4th and less than a yard.

Why this team only plays its best at that time is a total mystery to me. Although they play their best at time, it's still an illustration of how dysfunctional they are that they can't put 4 qtrs. of football together.

As soon as the game is lost, we mount a comeback.

With this team, I don't know that's a symptom of goodness, because the other team almost always slaps us down again afterwards.

Sure helps candle's stats though.
