Hey guys, first post, I lurk on here a lot. They just put this up on espn, I'm torn between Snyder and Cerrato, but I think Vinny is more at fault here.

Vinny is responsible for most of the mess but ultimately it leads right back to Snyder.

Why have they split vinny and danny. They are one and the same.

November-8th-2009, 04:43 PM
Wow, at the moment Zorn and Campbell are at 22% and Vinny is at 16%. What the hell?

As unqualified as Vinny may be for his job. Snyder is his boss, and keeps him in that job. Its his fault

If your new house is falling apart, you don't blame the carpenter or the site manager. You blame the builder.

Snyder is the problem - 100%.

The key to the Q is "this season"...I have to go with Vinny for the season, but Danny deserves the blame for the past 10 years.

You have to vote for Snyder with the choices, but I wouldn't shed a tear for any of them.

Don't agree. IMO, Snyder is to blame for this decade, this season, this month, this game.

I went with Vinny (now regretting it I should've went with Snyder). He picks all these guys...although it should be Vinny & Dan together.

You hit the nail on the head. Any vote for Vinny should be added to Snyders total.

$nyder has run the team into the ground over the past ten years.

vinny put together a roster with a lot of holes for his time here.

I voted Vinny cause everyone said the Oline was gonna be a problem and it wasnt addressed. How in the world are there more votes for campbell and zorn than vinny? Are people watching the games? Id say campbell is the least of the 4.

As much as I want Vinny out, I voted Snyder. It all starts at the top ...

Edit: And Dan is just WAY too involved with the football decisions.

I voted for Vinny cause that other thread about waking up and tomorrow finding him fired got me all excited.

It's still Snyder, though.

From a Dolphins fan perspective, it's a total NO-BRAINER to fire the Redskins GM Cerrato. Snyder is a total dumbass if he keeps him. If Redskins fans are hell bent on firing your head coach, you'd be lucky to get Jon Gruden if you can't get Bill Cowher. I think he'd fit right in with the angry Washington Redskins fanbase. Believe me, Chucky gets plenty angry himself. He's a workaholic too. He's totally obsessed like Redskins fans are. He'll keep the players on their toes that's for sure. :)

You know, don't take this as a personal attack please.. but I'm just saying.. for me these excuses about Synder are getting old. Yes, Synder sucks.. but is he the one that's causing us to suck as a team, lose games and play like we'd rather be somewhere else? Hell no.

Synder pays insane money for "carpenters" and "site managers" and I don't think its too much to expect that they perform. They aren't performing and now people are saying that's Synder's fault.. Thats like saying that if you go to work and don't do anything during your shift that it's your bosses fault. I'm sorry, but there is something called personal accountability and our team doesn't have it.

Vinny, Zorn and all of the current coaches need to be fired and this organization needs to be rebuilt with a GM with full control and I would bet my left nut it happens after this year. After that, start culling all these players that are too busy "looking good" vs "being good" AKA Landry, Hall, Portis, Sellers, Campbell, ARE.

Why on Earth is Vinny in 4th place in that poll?

Jeffro
November-8th-2009, 07:21 PM
Show me proof he micromanages.. Does he give his opinion? Yes.. Does he pick players? Yes.. But is he on the field telling them to miss blocks? Miss tackles? Get sacked because he cowers like a baby when the ball is snapped? Like I said.. if I saw the team playing with heart then I might agree.. right now this team is playing like overpaid spoiled kids and until they show they care it's not Synder's fault. It's the owner's job to get the best resources possible to put the team in position to win.

Ditto. I did the same thing. I find it hard to blame Vinny because he's just a figure head. I'm convinced Danny is the "brains" behind our stupid moves. Why do we neglect the offensive line? They don't sell jerseys.

It's about the Benjamins with Danny, not the Lombardis.

As much as I would like to see it, I really don't see Snyder giving any GM full control. He has to play along. Gibbs let him do it. Spurrier let him do it. Zorn expects him to do it.

It depends if Snyder doesnt step back and hire a GM and insists on working with gruden then the 2 wont last a year.

erock353
November-8th-2009, 08:36 PM
I can't believe Vinny is 4th. He is the reason why Zorn and JC aren't given a chance to succeed. Snyder has the most blame, but Vinny didn't do anything to help this offensive line out this year. WE are the perfect example of how a team with no O-line doesn't have chance in this league. Gibbs one with 3 different QB's........ because he had some of the best O-lines that played the game. Doesn't matter who we have calling the shots and playing QB.

edit: Grammar my problem I have.

Well, at least 56% of the 100,000+ respondents get that it's the F.O. (40% Dan, 16% Vinny).

Dan picked and stays with Vinny, so Vinny is in the Dan column too, if you ask me ...

Its whoever decided that OL is ok to not fix this last off season even though how bad they have been the last few years...specially injury wise, Im not sure who made the decision, Snyder, Vinny, or Zorn...My guess is Vinny, he prolly flashed his rings in snyders face again
