You know things are bad when the comics make fun of you. In today's Washington Post comics section, Tank McNamara spotlights a supposed conversation between Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerrato. In the conversation, an incredulous Snyder wonders why the stadium is only half full. For those of you not familiar with the strip, Tank McNamara is a sportscaster who often pokes fun at controversial people and events in the sports world. Looks like it's the Redskins' turn this week. Ouch!

There was a Simpsons episode where Homer wanted to own the Dallas Cowboys but wound up being the owner of the lowly Denver Broncos. After that the Broncos went on to win a couple of Super Bowls and are off to a 8-1 start after they play the Skins,,,,,,

You should never fire a guy unless you have someone in the background that can come in and who has a CHANCE to continue the position next year, we have no one like that.

It is the right move to keep Zorn til the end of the year.

Tank McNamara has a yearly "Sports Jerk of The Year Awards" in it's strip every January if I remember correctly. I think Snyder has won it before.
