The original thread can be found here: http://extremeskins.com/showthread.php?t=307499
As usual, if I left someone off that you feel is deserving, please don't be afraid to vote for "other" and leave a post in this thread about who you want to vote for.
Another note: Players can make the team at more than one position. We will end this thing with 53 DIFFERENT players on the roster, so if a player makes it for two positions (or more) we will have a poll based on the top vote getters to re-vote on and see who gets the "wild card" spots.
NOTE AGAIN: FOR THIS POSITION, YOU WILL ONLY BE CHOOSING ONE, HOWEVER, THE TOP TWO WILL MAKE THE 53 MAN ROSTER. THERE AREN'T ALOT OF NAMES TO CHOOSE FROM FOR THIS POSITION BATTLE, EITHER.

Go Len Hauss #56!!!

I went with Hauss.
14 seasons, 5 time pro bowler vs Bostic who had 14 seasons and one Pro Bowl year.
Though, I will say, Bostic wins on rings :)

Make sure you vote in the poll, by the way... It's showing zero Bostic votes.

I don't remember Len Hauss but he just has to be the center.

This is the second tough call in a row after relatively easy picks the first few votes.
I'm gona' plump for Bostic, purely on the basis I grew up with him and not Len Hauss, who has equally as deserving a merit to be picked, and I'm sure both ultimately will.
Hail.

This is one of those deals where statistics will have to come into play. Just going with Hauss in this case.

Toughest one yet, Bostic or Len Hauss. Bostic by a hair

Lost in the shadow of Bostic and Hauss is Jim Shrader, a 3 time Pro Bowler from the 50s and 60s.
But it's a tough all between Bostic and Hauss, both 14-year, career-long Redskins.

Yeah, I thougt about going with Schrader, but went with Hauss.
I always thought Bostic was overrated.

I went with Hauss even though I've seen Bostic play more.

Hauss was one tough SOB. Great center too. I'd put Bostic just a shade below him. But not by much.

This one is a battle. Every vote may count for this position. Although it looks like a lock which two will make it... The race for who will be the starter is officially on. :)

My feelings exactly. Tough choice. Hauss used to just beat the **** out of guys.

This one seems to be one of the most unpopular voting threads yet... But It's REALLY close between the starter and the backup right now. Every vote counts here...!!
This is OUR All-Time team. Have a voice :)

I gotta with Hauss, he has the Pro-Bowls over Bostic, I never saw Hauss play, but everything I have read on him seems like he was a more dominant player.

Len Hauss was one of our greatest players in franchise history. I love Bostic. He was a great guy. But he was no Len Hauss.

You are wise beyond your years.
Lenny was a stud when the line wasn't. He is my starter.

I was about to say I can't believe Bostic is ahead of Haus but then you look at any type of poll and people tend to discount people they don't have expience observing (look at any Greatest Presidents poll for an example). I think in these polls you should discount 30% of the votes of players that played at anytime in the last 20 years to get a more objective vote.

Which might explain why two people actually voted for Cory Raymer.

Think about this. Len Hauss started the 4th game of the 1964 season, then started EVERY game the Redskins played for the next THIRTEEN YEARS - 192 straight games. That's amazing for a guy in the trenches.
He made the Pro Bowl 6 straight years during that time, from 1967-1972.

Bostic was great, but I hafta give the nod to Lenny Hauss.
He was consistent and a real workhorse. Didn't actually win any SBs, but he did help take us to one.

Glad the consensus follows my personal take. Bostic and Hauss. The rest were all a level lower, whereas the vote between those two would probably have more to do with when you were born.

I think alot of players from the 80-91 seasons will get alot of votes since that was our best times.
