When I lived in Saudi the entire city of Ryadh was organized into "Suks". Some guy opens a business lets say carpets. If he's sucessful five guys open up the same businesses right next to him. After a few years you've got a Suk. One street with fifty stores all selling the same thing. Carpet Suks, Computer Suks, Gold Suks, even Camal Suks.

Used to get a fruit drink from this place called the King of Mango's. great place. Last time I was there a Queen of Mango, Emeperor of Mango, Duke of Mango openned up all around the guys shop.
