The original thread can be found here: http://extremeskins.com/showthread.php?t=307499

As usual, if I left someone off that you feel is deserving, please don't be afraid to vote for "other" and leave a post in this thread about who you want to vote for.

Another note: Players can make the team at more than one position. We will end this thing with 53 DIFFERENT players on the roster, so if a player makes it for two positions (or more) we will have a poll based on the top vote getters to re-vote on and see who gets the "wild card" spots.

PLEASE NOTE: I didn't include Riggins on this list. Although other backs here, for today's standards also got many more carries than an actual fullback, Riggins would have walked away with this competition. He will face much stiffer competition in the running back thread that will be started down the road and in order to get one of these other guys recognized, I opted to keep him out of this one.

Already an interesting trend here. Four votes. Four different guys receiving votes. Nice.

I'm going with Sellers, he seems to have fallen of this season but when he was in his prime he was a very good all around player.

I voted for the guy who led the way for John Riggins.

Otis Wonsley was a beast and a great special team to boot.

Being young, I only remember Sellers and Centers. I wanted to vote for Sellers, but he's fallen off so badly after signing that big contract that I had to go with Centers who was (from what I rememeber) quite good in a small stretch.

Hard to argue with the stats of Farkas, and, as much as I appreciate how the games evolved over the years, I prefer my FB to be as big and strong as possible in leading the way for my RB. Adding yards and scoring themselves is a bonus.

So on that basis, being as they don't come much bigger or stronger than Big Mike, Sellers gets my vote on this one.

Hail.

Fullback is a hard one due to the fact that the running game changed big in the late 70s, early 80s. For example, until Gibbs, Riggo was a FB (even went for +1000 twice as a FB). It was not uncommon for the primary running back on a team to be a FB (guys like Jim Brown were FBs) and even teams that ran the HB most, the FB still would get a significant number of carries (Harraway got 13-14 attempt per game). Now you are surprised when a FB gets more than 2-3 carries per game. Heck, if you go back far enough, FBs used to throw the ball (in fact, in a way, the guy listed as QB is actually playing the FB position in a shotgun).

How the hell is Larry Centers leading when he only played ONE season in DC and is more known as an Arizona Cardinal than a Redskin. I just went with Sellers.

If you want a blocking back then I'd go for Wonsley every time. You watch Riggins superbowl run again, Wonsley takes out two Dolphins on that play. He was an oustanding blocking back.

Very good special teams player, too. I went with Harraway, but could have easily gone with Wonsley or Sellers. Tough choice this time.

I don't think there's a bad choice on the list, to be honest. Sellers was phenomenal up until this year. Wonsley paved the road for Riggins. Centers, in his two seasons, had 150 receptions!? Good lord. Andy Farkas was an absolute stud and the only ALL PRO on the list. Rob Goode got the job done and Charlie Harraway was a very solid fullback.

This might be one of the best battles we have here. Every vote counts.

I figured I'd vote for Farkas here since I don't think I voted for him earlier.

I didn't think Sellers (this year) or Centers (only two years) deserved it, so I went with Farkas solely based on stats.

Wow, this one is really tough.

I can make a case for every one of them.

In spite of his performance this season, I guess I'll give the nod to Sellers, since he's played here for so long and has been in on some very big plays over the years.

I went with Wonsley since he was on our SB teams, helped block for Riggins and played some great Special Teams. Harraway was my 2nd choice.

About 21 hours left until this sucker gets shut down.

Looks like it's Sellers vs. Centers with Farkas still having an outside shot to get it.
