I guess someone can start one, but I'm not participating this year after being in the last two. One of my people actually died and I felt bad about "playing with their lives" so to speak.

I'll participate again if the "wild card" choices don't account for more than both first and second round choices combined.

As long as you don't contribute to their death. While I am not interested in playing these pools don't influence who would or would not die.

I ran 2008's, took to long to get 2009's going, so I was usurped.

You guys tell me if you want me to head it up again. Just know that the "wild cards" will be more strictly enforced if I'm in charge. There's a reason why they were worth more.

I'm down as well. And I agree with what you said. They can be worth 3 points but they can't allow someone to basically luck box into a cheap win.

We could nix the draft all together and anyone wanting to participate submit a list containing the following:

5 "locks" (1 point each)
2 WC age 45 - 59 (3 points each)
2 WC age 30 - 44 (5 points each)
1 WC age under 29 (10 points)

People would submit the list via PM to whomever is running it (NOT ME!) before a set deadline. Once the deadline has passed all lists will be posted to the OP of the "Official" thread. It is the responsiblility of the participants to keep up with their list. In order for the "Commish" of the DP to certify a death, a link to a reputable news source must be posted.

With the lists, people can have the same people but you won't know their list until after the deadline. This would help in tracking down individuals for the draft.

Just a suggestion and like I said before I will partcipate but, I can't run it.

The reason the wild card was worth more is because it had to be a TOTAL shock if that person died.

If you don't get a bonus for the wild card, theres no point in having that round.

I won last years with Michael Jackson as my wildcard pick. Safe to say though I won't participate in this years. It's just too weird picking somebody to die, having said person die and earn points for it. Even if it's just a harmless game still too weird for me.
