The layout is quite dumb, first off its tough to tell which 2 you're voting on, until you realize that the voting is in between the 2 girls that sandwich the first poll.

Then, since you don't really see anything with their names on it other than the actual image names, the poll automatically adds the girl winning to the top which defeats the purpose of this whole layout.

Poorly put together in my opinion.

That page is whacked out. It says Marlene has 27%, with 259 Votes, and Stephanie has73%, with 205 votes. Wha??? I'm no mathemetician, but something is AFU with that.

Stephanie is the one in blue, Marlene is the one lying on the bed with the thong peeking out. Lizzie is in the white top, Erin is in the brown holding the jersey. It made sense when I voted.

Train wreck may be a little harsh. How about we say 'f***ed up beyond all recognition?'

Here's the story. As soon as it launched yesterday folks started running bots to auto-vote. We stopped the voting immediately and placed firmer restrictions on voting (by IP Address).

If you were around when they had the mascot voting a few years ago, you remember Chief Zee getting cheated out of a sure victory by auto-voting. I did not want to see that happen here.

So we cleared the voting totals. Unfortunately, the overall totals at the bottom of each bracket reflect ALL of the voting that happened prior, while the individual totals within parenthesis are the actual, acurate votes.

When you visit the page for the first time, the names align to the girls (Stephie is the blond, Marlene is lying down, Lizzie is wearing the Redskins shirt, and Erin is holding the jersey).

So unless you really don't get it, it is difficult to vote for the wrong girls.

Once you vote however, it places the girls name who is winning at the top.

I know it sucks, and we are less than pleased with our IT guy because this is jacked up right now. But the vote totals are now accurate and may the best girl win.

Stephanie takes commanding lead over Marlene, 848 to 539. The race is tight between Lizzie and Erin with Lizzie holding onto a five vote lead at 5:51 AM.

We did it just like the NFL, by rankings with first facing worst.

All I can say is, this contest is messed up. How do you stop the contest before because of someone rigging the votes, but now when you can obviously see, there is nothing done! I woke up at 4:30am and was up by 1000 then woke up 4 hours later and she was up by 7K!!! Seriously?! No one is sitting there at 5am voting thousands of times! Its an inside job.

As I remember from the Chief Zee voting, it's possible to use bots (or macros if you will) to vote even if the board is set up to identify IPs. As I remember, you can set your macro up to clear out the cookies, which then makes the site think you've never visited it before. So then you get to vote again. Rinse, repeat.

I bet that's what's happening. Probably not Warpath's fault.

Edit: If people want, they could do a google search on, say, "keyboard macro", find a site, download, install, set up, and run.

If enough people did that, Marlene's numbers would start to fly...

Not only that, but you can set it up with several tabs in Firefox, and have it voting 10+ times every few seconds. It really makes contests like this very hard to maintain at a fair level.
