Babe Draft Wildcard Brackets Discussion Thread

Ok, here are a few notes and rules to follow:

- We're having a wildcard round since we have over 32 participants. The wildcard round will whittle the list down to exactly 32, and those 32 participants will be grouped into eight divisions of 4 teams each. After that, we start the playoff competition where it gets down to 16 teams, then down to 8 then down to 4, then down to 2, then down to the overall winner.

- The four people who signed up after the 32nd person signed up are automatically in the wildcard round (I elminated jfriedman). Those four people are going up against four randomly picked people from the list of the first 32 people to sign up. That list can be found here (http://www.extremeskins.com/showthread.php?t=316123). I used a random number generator to select the four people who ended up participating against the four late sign-ups in the wildcard round.

- I'll try and PM people to let them know I need pics of their "babes"...but do me and all of us a favor and try to keep on top of that kind of crap yourselves.

- First wildcard competition will go up Saturday morning (2/20).

RULES:

- Everyone must PM me two photos of each of their draft picks to use in the OP of the thread housing their match-up. make sure to tell me the names of each draft pick AND the category they are in...don't assume I should just "know" on my own.

- Make sure the pics for the "30 And Under" are within the last two years. Do your damn best to find out when they were taken. Basically, any photo taken from January 1st, 2008 will be allowed. It might be easier to just find out if they were taken before 2008 than it would be to find out exactly when they WERE taken. If you do know when approximately they were taken, tell me in your PM. I'm trying to double check all the "30 And Under" photos but would still appreciate any info you can give me as well.

- No frontal nudity, no rear full-nudity (in other words, a pic with nothing covering her patootie lol), no nipples, no pubes...you get the idea here.

- Whoever wins two of the three categories in their match-up advances.

- Make sure the photos are not huge...no wallpaper-size images, folks. Make them a nice, normal size. If they're too big I'm gonna ask you to resize them before I can use them. I'm still getting some rather large pics and have had to ask people to resize them...some of them should have been beyond obvious that they would be too big lol.

- No youtube videos will be allowed in the OP of your match-up. However, you CAN post youtube videos later on in the thread in support of your draft picks. Just make sure that ALL of the videos and pics you post in the thread are Safe For Work lol.

- You can NOT post photos or videos of your competition's draft picks. Only the team "owner/GM" can post pics of his or her draft picks. I want each thread to be a museum of incredibly hot and sexy women. I don't want 4 pages of photos showing "babes" coming out of Starbucks without any makeup on after working out at the gym lol. No exceptions.

- I'll decide when a match-up should be called.

- I'll also wait a bit in between posting the draft picks and their photos, and putting up the poll. That will give some people a bit of time to peruse the photos before being able to vote in the poll.

- The poll will be public, and ghost votes will not be counted.

- You can ONLY pick one "babe" from each category when you vote, so that means you'll be picking 3 babes, one from each category. In other words, don't screw up and pick both the "babes" for the TV Mom category lol :doh:...this isn't rocket science.

- I'll add more rules as I think of them :thumbsup:

Good question...I'm gonna say that within the thread, you can post older pics of your "30 And Under" draft pick. The main reason for this is because I'm not about to be bothered trying to police and verify every single stinkin' photo you guys put up in the match-up threads in support of your team lol :cool:...

Well, the 2010 ES Babe Draft Playoffs are here. This years crop of ladies is the best one yet. Lots of new faces, but still plenty of everyones favorite babes. The field is strong in all three categories. So go to each competition thread, and choose the ladies that you think are the hottest. Remember, one vote per category.

Good luck to all the teams. Keep it clean, and remember to follow ES board rules, as well as Califan007's.

First up, the Wildcard round. This is how I see it.

skinfan2k vs Hero21

This competition comes down to the 30-U category. Carrie should carry the RB for skinfan2k, while Catherine should ring the bell for Hero21 in the TVM slot. The question then comes down to Megan vs Kim. They both possess strong name recognition. And even though their body types are very different, they both bring their own kind of “hot” to the table. Personally, I'd prefer Kim. But, I don't underestimate the power Megan seems to have over the boys.
Prediction: skinfan2k 2-1

ljs vs Dapo

Close matchup. In the 30-U category, Ariadne's better looks should trump Federica's bigger breasts. And, Paulina should handle Haifa in the RB matchup. Laila prevents the sweep as TVM.

The only question here is, will SkinsNut73 sweep. Diora should easily handle Michelle in the 30-U battle. Likewise, Shania should turn out the Light, for RB. TVM will come down to pictures. Altair is prettier, but we'll see if her portfolio is revealing enough to hang with Roselyn.

Prediction: SkinsNut73 3-0

This is another close call. Will Adriana's “unique” look turn some voters away, giving the win to Olivia? Will Shaghayegh do the same against Cristina with the RB vote? Will Lori win TVM over Lena by a more then 2-1 margin?

In light of the epic battle between Hero and Skinsfan2K I was wondering when that matchup would be called since that one might go on forever...it's back and forth in 2 categories ever since the poll was posted. May just want to establish a max deadline...like 48 hrs after the poll is posted or something similar. That way you don't have to listen to the "yea but if you had left the poll open for one more hour I would have won" protest. Just a thought...

Eh, I'm playing it by ear right now lol...if there's no real winner by a certain time point in any of the matches I'll assign a deadline. But other than that I'm just letting them play out naturally.

As I said, it's probably easier to find out if they were taken before 1/1/2008 than to find out exactly when they WERE taken...for example:

Say my 30 And Under pick is Kelly Brook. I find this pic and think I'm gonna use it:

Now, I can't find out exactly when this photo was taken, but it looks recent enough so I don't investigate any further. Mistake.

Instead, if I looked for that same photo on some other sites, I might have run into this link:

...which clearly shows that my pic actually is from a calendar shoot...a 2007 calendar shoot. That automatically means that the pic was taken before 1/1/2008. I don't know exactly when it WAS taken...but I know it was before the cut-off date.

I dunno, I found quite a few Scarlett Johansson pics that I think would qualify...just depends on if you'd want to use them, I guess. I even found a site that specializes in Scarlett Johansson photos, and archives them by month. Now, that doesn't mean that because a pic is archived in, say, March 2009 that it was taken in March 2009...but a number of the pics had descriptions beneath them that talked about the photo shoot, what it was for, when the pics were published, etc, etc.
