Michael Vick made a very interesting disclosure on an Atlanta radio station. He said if he could choose one team to play for, it would be the Carolina Panthers.

Hmmm, the Panthers sure could use some quarterback help. But this might be nothing more than wishful thinking by Vick. I have a very tough time seeing Carolina owner Jerry Richardson allow coach John Fox and general manager Marty Hurney to pursue Vick, even if they wanted to.

Ever since the Rae Carruth episode, Richardson has strongly been against bringing in players with character issues. Richardson also has gone ahead and booted some players off the roster after they’ve gotten into trouble.

But Carolina already has 2 good running backs, including 1 (Stewart) who gets small injuires that pile up. What they need is a real QB, so I don't see this happening.

I wish the NFL would just start banning people from certain parts of the country. Like, "Sorry Mr. Vick, you're no longer aloud on the east coast (Buffalo, NY is fine too). You can now play for any team west of Tennessee.

I saw that a reason he wanted to play for them is because he likes their uniforms. Lmao. Wtf.

They could always turn to a gimmick a la Miami and start running an option. He's the one QB in the league that could probably get away with it if he has his legs back and he won't be making big money so you don't have the financial risk.

Carolina is going to see what Matt Moore can do before they resort to this sociopath, wanna be QB who has lost at least a step and can't hit the broad side of a barn.

Keep dreaming, Mike.

The thing that got me is that he also said he wants to play the falcons twice a year.

REALLY? You want to get back at the team that coddled your ass and gave you every opportunity until you completely abused their trust with your stupidity and animal cruelty?

And BTW... whatever happened to your mission to campaign against dog fighting? After all of your talk, what have you actually done?

I noticed that too.

This really irked me. Rather than letting bygones be bygones and just try to move on with his life, he actually wants to 'stick it' to his old franchise because they simply went out and got a real QB. The guy is a never was, and I absolutely cannot stand it whenever I hear clowns like Jamie Dukes plug for him as if he were the best thing since baked bread. The guy cannot throw. You might as well just trade for Randle El and put him at QB, you'd get the exact same result.

This is my problem there are no bygones between Vick and the Falcons. Arthur Blank took a huge risk and stuck his neck out for Vick as long as he could and Vick screwed up time after time with this whole ordeal, and the Falcons were forced to go in a different direction at the QB position.

This just goes to show how much of an ignorant ass Vick is and that he still doesn't understand how lucky he is to just be back in the league and being paid millions of dollars to be a back up QB, while there are millions of Americans who aren't felons that are being laid off and can't find a job to support their families. This thug hasn't changed and never will.

I can't wait until this waste of a life force is out of this league and working himself back into prison.

The ONLY reason he gets so much attention is because of his Won-Loss record. If not for that, this guy would never be a starting QB in this league. He has terrible mechanics. Obviously isn't very smart. Has awful touch. No accuracy. And he's definitely dreaming if he thinks there's ANY hope of him landing in Carolina. That's never happening.

what makes you think he wants to there and just stick it to them? he might have love for the city, the fans, and bein in the environment twice a year in the dwelling place that held his career so highly.

Well, it would only be once a year that he'd be "in the environment... in the dwelling place that held his career so highly."

The guy is a waste of five good quarts. As a matter of fact, that whole family is pathetic. His brother had a reasonable bright NFL future to look forward to until he stepped on some guy's face or leg during a game. Having one idiot-sociopath in the family may be a coincidence, but having two means they are doing something to produce them.

Buffalo should be OK, as it is closer to Cleveland than it is to Manhattan.
