dude, we have a legit QB now. that has been winning for a decade. in a system he already knows.

we have solid receivers and tight ends, and 3 runningbacks that have all been pretty good at one point.

and now i expect us to recoup a pick for campbell as he wont be a backup, and i still expect us to work some draft day deals for extra picks.

this is a great move. mcnabb is solid for another 3 years.

We needed a QB and a LT. And even though I love Clausen, the 2011 and 2012 draft classes will be historic for QBs.

We can now take Okung or Bulaga, or we can actually trade down for more picks, or even take Suh if he's there.

Getting a Pro Bowl QB for a 2nd gives us OPTIONS in our draft. Stop knee-jerking this and think long term with it, please.

We can afford to wait to get a young QB, we can take a shot at a developmental guy - we now have a LEGIT FRANCHISE QB - and when you have that, you have options.

I don't post here often, but I love the move. Mcnabb is a SIX time probowler! Quarterbacks are not running backs and can play well into their late 30's. Also, I'm sure they'll draft a youngster in the later rounds to groom under Mcnabb. Think about it, Mcnabb plus the Shannahans plus a good defense!!! I love it all we need now is to improve the oline. Remember all the years that Philly had subpar wide recievers? I think our WR core is better than what he's been used to most of his career. We take Okung with the #4 pick and pick up other lineman in FA. I think this is the best move!

people need to keep in mind our head coach made JAKE PLUMMER look like a pro bowler. he just got a top 10 qb that's a proven all pro in the west coast offense, at half the cost of sam bradford, who could have been amazing or terrible. people are also saying mcnabb is so old blah blah blah. two words: brett favre. age clearly isn't as strong of an indicator on the quarterback position as it used to be.
