"Welcome Donovan" media blitz

I've got a friend that works for a major VA newspaper and he told me the Redskins had contacted the paper about running a full page Welcome Donovan Ad in his paper. In exchange, the Redskins were providing tickets for the paper to use for promotional purposes. My friend knows I'm a big Skins fan so I'm not sure if he's messing with me. Anybody else heard anything about this? Pretty cool idea if true.

its probably the times dispatch. i live in ric and i've seen them do similar things before but theres nothing wrong with promoting a huge signing. go skins!
