I'm told a Jason Campbell trade is not imminent. The process of finding a trading partner continues, though. #Redskins 1 minute ago via TweetDeck

I find it extremely difficult that he will be the redskins backup......

If he is then great......we are in pretty good shape at the QB position.....I just dont see it.

twitter is an important achievement in the internet's social devolution...they managed to take the current cellar of self-absorbed ADHD ignorant opining (message boards) and move it the next notch down.

This is a win-win for us. Campbell stays on as a back-up, great. Campbell traded for a draft pick, great.

I like to think many put a lot of hard work into that before ever logging on the net. Old School, baby. Hanging out in 3D and being full of ****.

I think that there is a market for Campbell but teams are attempting to lowball shanahan and he's not going for it. If he sticks to his guns and shows he is willing to go to camp with jc as a backup then we will be able to get a late 3rd or 4th.

I must confess to a certain diminution of my narrative cognition. Before I never needed outlines, other than to give form to what I was already writing and thinking, now I need them to join together disparate and disjointed "thoughts" on a subject (for papers, at least.)

As for ADHD crowd, I had to go get a manager because kids in Clash of the Titans were texting throughout (they didn't even appear old enough to be 13, honestly) and I warned them once. Rather than go to jail for slapping a kid or throwing his phone against the wall, I figured going through the proprietor was best. They finally gave up but it made me think how dumb you have to be and how entitled you feel to disturb other people watching a movie after a big movie PSA tells you not to text or use cell phones and when you are warned personally by someone who says, "I don't want to see your damn backlight the entire film."

Parents are ruining children with technology. A child should have a phone for the purpose of emergency calls and that's it. This one kid had a GD QWERTY slider, WTF.

Is anyone keeping a tally on this. I think we've got 2 that say JC's trade isn't going down yet, and 3 or 4 that say it's either already happenned, or is in process.

Yeah the DC media has been all over the place this offseason. Have they been right about anything yet?

where, other than that bogus bleacherreport blog, has anyone said that Campbell has been traded or that a deal is imminent.

Contrary to what you're said, we've got multiple sources saying nothing is happening soon and one, uncredible source, that has alrady been debunked, saying otherwise.

Besides 980 who read the bleacher report, I don't know anyone who is stating it has happened or is in process.

980 confirmed that the internet report was false. As a matter of fact, that page has been deleted on bleacher report.

There is just speculation that a trade may be in the works because:

A.) Earlier today it was reported that JC was not going to sign the tender in hopes of getting released

B.) All of a sudden, he decided to sign the tender

Jason Campbell signed his 1-yr, $3.14 million tender offer this afternoon. Team is now free to trade him, if it gets an offer it likes

I dont think there is as high of a market for Campbell as many of you. Otherwise the dude would have been gone already. Were likely keeping him to be the backup (big mistake) or trading him for a 5th which saddly is still appealing to me for this over blown waste of a franchise killer.

He will be traded on draft day for draft picks to a team that realizes they can't do better with the remaining quarterbacks in the draft.

Your hopes are flawed, in all likelihood, neither will come to pass. He's a man without a team. Dead man walking.

You are not for real, are you? Campbell value is zero. He is not a back up. Because you have to spoon feed him plays.

Get this in your thinking: Campbell does not want to be here!

That seems to be their strategy this offseason.

Really like the way Snyder, Allen and Shanny are working together this year.
Waiting to evaluate the players, giving the assistant coachs a chance to work their magic in the workouts and systems before having a fire sale and giving talent away.

JC being here or not being here wont impact the Skins this season, excluding the possibility that the draft pick we get is a superior player.

Shanahan should package JC and AH to the Lions (who are looking for DT help in the draft and need a better QB) or the Bucs who are looking defense also and need a better QB) for their first round overall pick to seal the deal.

Going to camp with Campbell as a backup only hurts us. He isn't going to beat out Grossman as #2 QB. The Campbell defenders blame the different systems each yeah for his failures, so how is he supposed to beat a QB who has already been in the system. Take the best off by draft day and pull the trigger we need the picks now not next year.

The Lions just drafted Stafford last year, doubt they are looking for QB help.

Lions drafted Matt Stafford and Bucs drafted Josh Freeman. Won't happen...probably

Man without a team? He just signed a 3Mil offer from the Redskins. He's a Washington Redskin... until he's traded.

He just signed the tender, so I think something will happen, but it may not be until next week or even on draft day.

Remember, the skins can cut him without having to pay him anything. So for him being a Redskin, that is not the case yet. There is no doubt in my mind that Campbell will be gone, and rightfully so.
