I ended up drafting 9th in a 10 team draft which, IMHO is the worst slot possible. But I think I did ok. Tell me what you think of my team:

I like everything except your wideouts. I don't like Rod for this year and although Chambers has a lot of potential, I'm not so sure that he'll be a legit fantasy player this year. I'm sure you didn't take receiver until round five, after Edge, Henry, Manning, and Gonzalez, but I would be curious to see who you passed over for Rod and Chambers.

Yea, WR is my weakness for sure. I was wary on Rod too but he was the highest rated player at WR when I finally got around to picking one up. Hopefully he can improve his game this year from last year.

Your receivers are a bit of a mess, see who is available free agent wise. Look at taking a gamble on a free agent or maybe try and trade one of your QB's.

Rod was the highest rated guy come round 5? There had to have been a Donte Stallworth or a Jerry Porter or a Marty Booker type guy. I'm just curious, if you'd like to post a link to your draft results page, I'd be interested to see it.

agreed that your WR's are weak. i don't expect much from chambers or smith this year. boerigter might turn out to be your most productive of the four. brady spreads the ball around too much for any Pats WR to be very productive, unless Brown also returns punts and KO's for them.

oh yeah, the rest of your team is solid. i drafted 10 and wish i could have gotten edge and henry. ended up with edge and jamal lewis, pretty happy about that as i think henry's OL is gonna be suspect this season.

I drafted in a yahoo league a couple of weeks ago and i ended up with
A Brooks
E Moulds
C Johnson
M Booker
Deuce
T Henry
R Mcmichael
W Green
M Muhammed
Q Morgan
C Buckhalter (dropped 2nd kicker)
P Ramsay
M Gramatica
Philly D
Washington D
Just remembered i have dropped Muhammed and picked up Zereoue.
any thoughts folks?

I like that team, only weak spot is TE, but that position is a crapshoot anyway. I like the Zeroue pick up, I think he has a chance at a solid season.

Here's my team in a 14 team league I'm commissioning. I had 13th pick:

QB - Steve McNair (4)
WR - Terrell Owens (2)
WR - Hines Ward (3)
WR - Josh Reed (9)
RB - Marshall Faulk (1)
RB - Troy Hambrick (5)
TE - Todd Heap (6)
WR/RB - Amos Zeroue (7)
K - Martin Gramatica (10)
DEF - San Dieago (14)
Bench - Tom Brady (8)
Bench - Mark Boerigter (11)
Bench - Ladell Betts (12)
Bench - Ashley Lelie (13)
Bench - Andre Johnson (15)

Hambrick isn't a great pick at round 5, but I needed another running back. There were no running backs on the board in round 3 that I could reconcile taking over Hines Ward, and at number 4 there weren't any running backs worth that pick either. Hambrick was a guy I figure has a chance to succeed with Parcells and the thirteenth pick in the fifth round probably isn't too much of a stretch.

Lately I'm wondering who will end up starting the bulk of my games at QB.

My other issue will be at third WR where I could see Reed being supplanted by Lelie or Boerigter. All in all I think I had a pretty solid draft, with nobody really coming up with more than 2 quality RBs.

not sure about Hambrick and Betts, is there noone you could pick up? Solid QB's and Receivers tho. Hopefully Hambrick steps up for you (but not when we play the cowgirls)

Nope, they were all gone by then. There was a run on wideouts early on in my draft. I guess I paid the price by going for Tony G. earlier, but I like having the top player in the position so I couldn't resist.
