Was looking for an ex-girlfriend I use to date. Well I told him nothing and he left his card.. which I tossed in the trash.

Well, now I found out where something is located that he is looking for from the ex-gf and I was going to let him know where to snag it... (Normally I wouldn't do stuff like this, but I'm over being screwed over financially from her even after she has left). But I have one problem.. I don't know the guy's name or what agency he was from.

Is there anyway to find out who is looking for a certain individual?

Check your ex-GF on Judiciary Case Search. Find out what attorney is involved with her case (her attorney), and call him and make an offer to surrender the item in question, at his office.

I think what the PI is looking for is an item in her possession that she is way late n payments and they're looking to re-possess it.

If it's a car, then you are probably not dealing with a true PI. many repo agents get PI credentials to add weight to their investigations.
