My starters are Faulk and Garner but need a good backup. I have a chance to trade Pinkston for one of these,
Buckhalter
Antwoine Smith
Lamant Jordan
I currently have Alstott should I trade and for who?

I don't think Jordan is going to see a whole lot of action this year and I thought that Buckhalter was injured but am not sure. Smith has really struggled as well lately. Smith might be the best of the bunch unless Buckhalter is healthy. If I were you I would try to trade Pinkston for Amos Zereoue and if that can't happen then get one of the previously mentioned backs.

i would pick up Jordan or Buckhalter, sorry i can't give any evidence to back it up it is just my gut feeling. I do expect Buckhalter to get the majority of carries and Jordan will be on the field more this season than previous seasons. Smith will probably end up as a rbbc with Faulk.

I would probably go with Smith although I don't like any of the three enough to trade for. It looks like he will get imediate playing time even if NE is using the RB by CM. Lamont may get some goal line carriers, but with out Pennington it could be a rough road. Buckhalter I would stay away from, I wouldn't be surprised to see Duce come back strong, contract year. Plus the Eagles have another good RB named Brian Westbrook who wasn't injured last year.
Is Lamar Gorden avaliable? You might even think about Justin Fargus.

this better be a fourth or fifth string RB on your team. expect Jordan to see the field only in the Jets get lucky; Buckhalter is up in the air, coming off an injury and Duce is back...; Smith is supposed to split carries with Kevin Faulk (the third down back). pinkston isn't anything special so you can't really go wrong.
if you think CMart will get hurt (very possible) trade for LJordan...
if you think Duce will be elsewhere trade for CBuck...
if you think the Pats will actually run the ball this year trade for ASmith...

I would choose Buckhalter but Jordan has potential. I would avoid Smith at all costs.

Of those 3 I would have to go with Smith, but it's all just a crap shoot anyway.

Well, I'd go for Buck since I have him as my 4th RB. Something keeps telling me that he'll produce some decent numbers.
Jordan would be the next choice.
