Cowboys OT Sam Young will be sidelined 3-4 weeks with a sprained right MCL.
Young had a solid camp, showing more than anticipated power and proving to the team that he was a valuable backup piece. His sidelining is a big blow to what little depth the team had along the offensive line.

The Cowboys left Houston with no injuries to any of their main players.

Backup tackle Sam Young, however, suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee and will miss three to four weeks.

The Cowboys are thinking of keeping Young on their 53-man roster, and this injury not only ends his preseason (the last game is Thursday), but it puts him out for at least the first two weeks of the regular season.

Young wasn't going to be active anyway -- Robert Brewster is the swing tackle -- so it's not that big of a deal.

Receiver Dez Bryant (ankle) is expected to return at some point this week for practice. The Cowboys will have a walkthrough Tuesday and Wednesday, and if Bryant particpates and the starters play on Thursday night, he could get some snaps with the first team.

That O-line seems cursed this season.

Maybe they should have kept Blowzell.

Hmmm...watch for the pukes to pick up an OT off the wire, and then he'll immediately be projected for the Pro-Bowl the next week.

You think I kid...:(

Maybe not the Pro Bowl, but he'll undoubtedly be the best backup OT in the league, by a far margin.

according to puke fans it dosen't matter they have so much more talent than every other team..all thier backups would be starters on other teams..lol
