Cardinals placed FB Nehemiah Broughton on injured reserve with a torn ACL, ending his season.
Unless you count Reagan Maui'a -- a roster long shot -- the Cards will enter the season without a true lead blocker on the final 53. It figures to limit their ability to use I-formations, but Beanie Wells doesn't need a fullback in front of him to pick up yardage. He remains a threat for 250+ carries.
