Obama did something this morning that Clinton did back in 1994. He reached out to the American people (and the GOP House), apologized, and said he would work with them.

Now, the GOP is stuck. Do they compromise and work with the President? Or do they fight him tooth and nail, perhaps angering Joe Public, and possibly lose the ground they gained in 2 years?

It's a tough out for the GOP.

Well, if I was born here; I would put my hat in the ring. I missed that by 7 months.

I would love to see a 4 or 5 way race and have the election thrown to the house.

I still say Obama win reelection, even if barely.

He's got the black vote. He's got the majority of the hispanic vote. The liberals really have nowhere else to go; so he has their vote. Obama is probably battling for 10 % of the vote to get to 50%.

Also, why is Donald Trump wasting time thinking about running as a Republican. He has no shot and would be wasting his money. If he's serious about running, he needs to run as an independent. I don't expect him to have a shot at winning but he could make an impact in the 2012 election.

As a Rep he effects the primaries....as a indy he effects the general

Won't win either,but playing spoiler and framing the debate is certainly possible
