Will that mean everyone overacted last week including Shanahan??
Will that mean the Lions are actually a good team??
Will that mean the Jets are who we thought they were??? :D

It'd mean the Lions will have won two in a row and the Jets will have lost two in a row.

With the way this year has gone, I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Still won't change the fact that were were up by 5 with less than 5 minutes to go and lost by 12.

Won't me feel any better.

It won't mean a damn thing except for that we should've beaten them last week ;)

What does that have to do with anything? It's a game we could have won but it turned into one big cluster****. The Lions could run the table and it wouldn't change a thing (other than possible playoff implications).

I dont want to be the bearer of bad news, but every game we lose this year will be one that we should've won. So I hope your on your meds dawg

On the positive note, every game we win is one we should've lost.

Considering that the Lions don't play in the NFC East and the Jets aren't even in our Conference...then nothing, as far as the Redskins are concerned.

The Lions are sneaky good. They've been in practically every game they've played, and that's been without their star quarterback. If a couple balls bounce the other way for us, we would be in exactly their position (of course, if a couple balls bounce our way, we're 6-2, but I digress). They're about as good as us, and they have two things we don't: a quarterback for the next ten years, and a top 5 receiver in the league. That doesn't mean we shouldn't have beat them, but we're not a horrible team for losing to them.

It would make the Skin's look less worse. :silly:
If they beat a potential playoff/SB contender, than the Skin's loss doesn't look too bad right??

Sanchez is not a rookie. Just saying.

Honestly? It would make me feel better.

I took hell last week and 2009 for the loss to the Lions. If the Lions go out and win some more games it may curb the humiliation.

However I have this awful feeling that the Lions will finish 2-14 or 3-13. Thus cementing our teams futility in the Motor City. :(

I picked NYJ, but seeing that arrogant POS Rex on the podium last week made me :)

There's actually some football this week? Well ****. And I had a relaxing, stress free Sunday all planned as well, darn it. Someone give the memo to the Comish: No Redskins football. No football worth watching period!

Hail.

*Edit* Well shoot, that's the strangest thang. I can't errase the double "Someone" typo. It just comes right back when I hit save. Halloween was last Sunday right?

It wouldn't make the Redskins loss look any better, but it would make me happy.

I'd have a loss in pick-em, but it would show that the Jets are who I thought they were.

People say that the Lions are good, which basically translates to me that yet another team is getting better faster than the Skins. How that's supposed to make me feel any better, I don't know.

The lions are better than people give them credit for, whether or not they beat the jets.

It means that the Jets are the most overrated team in the NFL.

I've watched a decent amount of the Lions this year.

People really don't give them enough credit - if they continue like this they should definitely be a very good young team in the coming years.

Hell, they pretty much got robbed of a win in week 1 and have had a few other games that they could have won, even without Stafford.

Figures the Colts are looking like their gonna lay a egg against the eagles. Every major team we faced gives us their best then crap it. (Texans, Colts, etc)

Yea I mentioned that in another thread. Our rivals get everyone's backups and we get their best. Even tthe jets had the lions without Stafford today just like the giants and eagles did. Eagles have colts without clark and Addai. Giants got seattle without Hasselbeck bears without cutler. Our schedule has truly been the hardest in the NFC

We came close to beating the Lions, remember we were the underdogs.

To be fair, even though Green Bay had some injuries already, Philly had to play them the first week of the season. We got a more depleted Packers team, and we probably lose that game if Matthews doesn't get hurt.
