Alright, all of these guys signing up just to post their websites' articles...this has to count as spam, right?

If we want to discuss your article, we'll find it and post it ourselves. Your only posts on our website are in threads created by you, about articles on your website.

This is just annoying. There's not even any substance to the OP...you just want more page views and for us to "spread the word" on your website/article. That's not what ES is for.

ya know this happeed the other day i went to 2 or 3 threads started by the same guy and they were all just either one or 2 words and a link or just a link..... i got in on one right after it had been posted and got the first response to it and asked why he was spamming our board....

next thing i knew all his threads disappeared .... so yeah i think some of that is going on....

im sure the mods will say it happens often but i have noticed it more recently than before

First, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it if you didn't give us orders in regards to the website/article that you're shamelessly spamming around the board every week.

Second, that is indeed what you're doing. When you post a link, asking for retweets and facebook "likes", and basically using ES to get more page views for your site, while offering nothing else, that's spamming.

Especially since almost every single one of your 37 posts on ES has been in a thread of your creation, pimping an article on your website, in a format like this.

Every single person who's commented on this thread has agreed with me.

And the CAPS lock doesn't get across your POINT any BETTER.

For an example of a thread like this that contributes to the board and isn't the type of spam that obviously annoys people, click on this:

*You mean like the last article on the SKINS' MID-SEASON report card? About 30 comments. All having to do with football. Guys who knew what they were talking about. This is a football board, right?

:ols: This guy just doesn't get it.

There's a couple of reasons why your article isn't being discussed by anybody in this thread.

One reason: Everyone who's posted here thinks your thread is spam.

Second reason: There are multiple threads already discussing the Eagles game going on right now. Most of us have been posting in them.

And that's why this is spam. A contributing ES member wouldn't have started this thread....because we've got multiple threads on this exact topic, with more insight, one of them (which I gave you the link for) even put together by a respected board member, which he does weekly.

But you come on and pimp your website with a crap OP:

Basically, advertising your website and looking for page views, retweets, and "likes" on facebook.

There's a difference, and that difference is why this thread contains no football discussion.

And apparently you aren't getting the jokes about the caps lock.

What's wrong with fans making blogs and analyzing games? At least some do have good reads and it's not another post about the benching a week ago. Some Redskin fans have actually written much better articles then some of the over paid idiots who write for a living. Although others make no since or logic to even debate, I would like to read many of my fellow fans thoughts and hopes for our team season.

To the OP, not a bad read and artilcle at all, good job!

We got a couple problems here:

1) No source in title. You did the same thing in Week 7. Warning was issued.

2) The thread looks like spam - as the primary purpose per the text in the OP appears to be gratuitous solicitation.
