Most valuable player being Vick is a terrible image for the NFL, I think, they do not want that to happen. It looks bad that the best player and the face of the NFL is a guy that just spent 2 years in jail for killing animals.
If Vick wins MVP they will make him share it with Tom Brady like they did McNair and Manning.

If he keeps up this level of play, the MVP award would be a joke and lose all credibility if it wasn't awarded to him. That said, there's a ton of football left ... lets worry about that later :)

Hey, last years MVP should've gone to Brees but look who won it. It's fixed so if they don't want him to win it then he won't.

Don't worry, Clay Matthews III will rush in and take it.

I actually think they would love it, what's better than a story of redemption. I was just thinking about last night how great it is that Vick seems to have turned things around.

It's not the NFL's fault Vick is making all of those plays on the field. It's Vick's "fault".

I think the NFL would love it. Story of redemption? Thats how it would be spun. They'd eat that **** up.

MVP will prove that the commish made the right decision to let him back in.

So you're saying that the league should take an interest in who is/is not to be named MVP on a basis other than who plays best?

How about Vick vs. Roethlisberger in the Super Bowl?

Vick is playing MVP ball right now, but he's not the only deserving candidate. Matt Ryan and Tom Brady are playing some great ball too, leading their teams to #1 seeds in their conferences. Many times the MVP doesn't necessarily go to the best overall player, but instead to the best player on the best team.

Honestly, if Vick was playing ANY other team aside from ours. I would of been cheering him on, I'm a huge fan of Vick and always have been. While some may feel that his time served isn't enough or have damned him completely.
I support the guy. He is after all a Hokie and I still respect him for his impact at VT

I hope he wins it, and then screws his career up again bringing shame on this league and simultaneously making all these analysts that are currently sucking his **** rescind everything they've said.
