I didn't know Brunell was still in the league. I thought he shut it down after winning the big one with the Saints.
The New York Jets (11-5) finished the 2010 regular season with a commanding 38-7 victory over the Buffalo Bills (4-12).
Mark Brunell played in replacement for the injured Mark Sanchez, and performed rather well as he threw a pair of touchdowns and posted a 86.8 passer rating. Meanwhile, Joe McKnight rushed for 158 yards.
Of course, the real difference to the game was the six forced turnovers.
To be fair, Ryan Fitzpatrick was out with an injury and Brian Brohm was absolutely horrendous as he recorded a pathetic 17.9 passer rating.
Nevertheless, this gives the Jets great momentum heading into the playoffs.
