I worked security in a club for a few years...this sounds like nothing...this stuff happens all the time in clubs, I can say with 99% certainty that if this was Joe Nobody throwing a drink on her that she would not have pressed charges. This is a non issue for me. move along

When I hear about these kind of cases I don't even give it too much thought. Assault cases are notoriously full of lies and false accusations. Courts are jammed with them, most are he said-she said. A lot of plaintiffs do not even show up for the trial.

For the defendants; they go to jail for a day, they MUST appear in court or get re-arrested, they spend thousands on bail and lawyers, their name is permanently smeared in the mud, they still have a record even if acquitted, they lose jobs and sometimes custody of children, sometimes have to go to court three or four times, sometimes must spend a half year in jail awaiting trial.

The system needs to be fixed....badly.

By the way....ANYONE can call the police! You don't have to be innocent to dial a phone!

Well, as far as losing your job, it depends on if your boss feels the costs (loss of good will, customers etc.) exceeds the value you bring in. A co-worker of mine was convicted a DWI, she was too valuable to the government, so nothing happened her. A person who was hired to replace a person I hired was convicted of running around naked in a mall, he kept his 6-figure job. Another friend of mine was accused of bribing a foreign official to keep his job (he did not even have such a working relationship) and was fired.

"An aggessive manner": was he trying to tackle her or block her or just running fast in her direction?

"He grabbed her" Did he grab her arm after she flung it at him wth the drink in her hand or did he grab a more sensitive area?

"He threw hs drink on her and she was struck by an object". Martini and the olive? or champagne and the bottle?

Let the police settle it. If he's guilty, it shows some character flaws that alcohol helps bring out in young men. Hopefully, he figures oiut why it's so stupid. His current state is "Not guilty" until a court judges him otherwise. I wouldn't let him date my daughter, but I'm not willing to throw him under the jailhouse until he's had his day in court. Cooley is our zone buster. He's one of the best in the NFL at finding the weak spots in a zone. And that's very hard to teach; it's more instinct. Davis is better vs Man coverage. I think you keep both of them. And with Paulsen we have three solid TE's. The three TE set is working great for New England right now! That would be a nice change up package with us. Great for killing clock and pounding it too.
