The 2011 NFL schedule is hot off the presses, but there is already one All-Pro player making Super Bowl predictions.
Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall went to Twitter last night (@BMarshall19) and told his 20,000-plus followers that they could mock him all they'd like, but he was ready to predict who would be playing in Indianapolis next February.
"Blog it.. Hate it.. Criticize it.. Dolphins and 49ers in Super Bowl XLVI," Marshall wrote.
Besides catching passes, Marshall is also doing some college scouting for Miami in preparation for next week's draft. He projected that one of the most-scrutinized prospects in the draft will emerge as a standout player.
"Listen to me," Marshall tweeted. "Ryan Mallett will be an All-Pro Qb."
The way we see it
Some people may not like it, but we think it's pretty cool that Marshall goes on social media and comments about his team and the players in the draft. A lot of people are afraid of the criticism they will receive for making such predictions, but clearly the Dolphins wideout doesn't care about any of that.
LOL @ his Super Bowl pick, and interesting "take" on Ryan Mallett.
