Arlington, Va. area Washington Redskins fan sells rooting-rights on eBay

Everyone knows that football in the United States is King and that fans are rabid for whichever team they root for. The ups and downs of being a fan can be tough, but tough enough to root for another team? Tough enough to actually put YOUR ROOTING INTEREST up for sale to the highest bidder?

That is exactly what one Virginia man has done. Aaron Leistner of Arlington, Virginia has become so disgruntled with the team he loves, The Washington Redskins, that he has actually put his rooting interest up for auction on ebay.

"I just can't take it anymore, this team drives me nuts! It’s run poorly and they treat there fans like crap. I know we have no chance of winning this year, so why not root for another team in protest?"

One quick glance at his auction posting tells you exactly what you will get if you are interested in having your team gain another fan.

"What I am putting up for sale is not your everyday item. I am putting up my rooting interest for the upcoming NFL season. I am a die hard Washington redskins fan who is sick of dealing with all the BS they have been feeding me.

What you will get. Well first and foremost you will get my utmost support for your team during this NFL season. I will take the money you invest and buy a jersey, shirt and hat supporting your favorite NFL team. I will wear the hat everyday of the season along with wearing the shirt twice a week and the jersey twice a week as well (one of those days being Sunday). I will watch your teams game like it was my own. I am also willing to replace my skins sticker in my car with a sticker that you provide me.

I will tweet nearly every day the on goings of your team and will root for your team all week long on Facebook (http://facebook.34409.free-press-release.com/) to my nearly 900 friends.

I am willing to send you pictures daily of my team items I am wearing and will give you my twitter handle and Facebook page so you can keep track of your investment.
