Short story:
-Girl meets guy
-Girl grows to distrust guy after he moves in
-He rapes her
-After she refuses to drop the charges, he constructs a plot to frame her

Thats pretty messed up. Not really that unbelievable or intricate. He got a bunch of people to lie for him.

Some legal experts say Ms. Sumasar’s story shows how the American justice system can be easily manipulated, with the principle of innocent until proven guilty turned on its head.
The first thing running through my head was if this numbnut can pull this off by watching too much CSI, despite evidence showing she wasn't even in the same town at the time of the robberies, how easy is it to set someone up if you're smart and put some effort into it?

This is similar to the story a month or so ago about the guy who framed his neighbor on child pornography charges because of some petty dispute. I hope the penalty for this guy is as harsh as it was for the scumbag in the other case.
